Says “Allah Willing” and then you are a terrorist

Thursday, August 7th, 2008

An interesting article shared by my blog reader and friend shafiq bhai which published in  Boston Magazine which reveales further about sick and lame mentality of West towards Islam. From Boston Mag.

“She was religious, but that wasn’t unusual in McCormick,” says a former MIT student who lived in the dorm at the time. “She was just nice and soft- spoken,” says Marnie Biando, a student who worked at the front desk. “She wasn’t terribly assertive.”

While at MIT Siddiqui apparently joined an association for Muslim students. She wrote three guides for members who wanted to teach others about Islam. On the group’s website, Siddiqui explained how to run a daw’ah table, an informational booth used at school events to educate people about, and persuade them to convert to, Islam. Some of what Siddiqui wrote — about needing enough money to buy Islamic literature and posterboard — sounds like a handout for a PTA meeting.

And here it comes, I would not surprise why Aafia was  dangerous for America, because she wanted to spread Islam in US passionatly something which Christian America could not grasp at all and Jews Administration could not bear it anyway.

“Imagine our humble, but sincere daw’ah effort turning into a major daw’ah movement in this country! Just imagine it! And us, reaping the reward of everyone who accepts Islam through this movement, through years to come . . . Think and plan big.” So big was her thinking that she envisioned an outcome that might surprise many of her adopted countrymen: “May Allah give this strength and sincerity to us so that our humble effort continue, and expands until America becomes a Muslim land.”

and she was charged for:

“They started with the whole idea that Aafia was involved in biochemical warfare,” says Sharp. “She wasn’t taking brain cells and testing how they reacted to gases. But there’s all this news in the media about the changing face of Al Qaeda and the neurobiology scare, and now we’ve got this MIT graduate with a Brandeis Ph.D. who’s cooking up all these viruses.”

Ironically Aafia wanted to live in West and didn’t want her children go back to Pakistan and face conservative environment but since she loved Islam more than ignorant muslims like me.

“Aafia wanted to live in the West,” Sharp says the family told her, adding that Khan wanted to return to Pakistan and raise the children as conservative Muslims. When Siddiqui’s parents had arranged their daughter’s marriage to Khan, they were under the impression that he was progressive. Now they were worried.

And when you says Allah Willing (insha Allah),you are terrorist for US:

What DiZio did see evidence of was Siddiqui’s obvious passion for Islam. “She made many references to her faith in scientific conversations,” he says. “When presenting a proposal about how some results would come out and whether they would support her theory, she would say, ‘Allah willing.’” Though such comments may have seemed strange in an academic setting, DiZio says there was nothing radical about Siddiqui. “She just seemed like a very kind person.”

Bringing Concentration in Salaah

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

A common complaint of many who seek reformation, is their lack of concentration in Salaah, and finding themselves wanting in the spirit of Salaah. They write or ask for some prescription to bring in that spirit and that love of Allah Ta’ala through Salaah.

The following guidelines will, Insha-Allah, assist in improving the quality of one’s Salaah :

  • Men should try and reach the Musjid before the Azaan, so that they may with etiquette and ease, read the Sunnat Salaah – and this should take them about 5 minutes.
  • In the remaining few minutes before the Fardh, make Istighfaar, Taubah, or Zikrullah, or think of the Aakhirah (the Hereafter) and accountability and presentation of one’s deeds in the Court of Allah Ta’ala. Reflect over one’s life : What if my death has to come now ? …Try and cut off from the business and worldly activities as much as possible through this little meditation and Zikr.

Now comes the Fardh Salaah : Insha-Allah, by this time, much of one’s heart will be in that Salaah. Insha-Allah, with a little effort and perseverance, there will be full attention and concentration.

  • Ladies should try and read Salaah in its early time, thus giving themselves the opportunity of making preparation for Salaah, without any haste. They too should make a little zikr before commencing with Salaah, to get into the right frame of mind.

Moreover, if we give priority status to fulfilling the Rights of Allah Ta’ala, then He will assist us in fulfilling our tasks. He will grant Barakah in time so that our undertakings are completed, Insha-Allah.

  • Condition the mind; address yourself – I am standing before the King of Kings. SubhanAllah. …I have been chosen, from millions, to converse with ‘Rabbul ‘Aalameen’ and I am being afforded the greatest honour and privilege (above millions of others), to make sujood to Allah Ta’ala… to be nearest to Allah Ta’ala. [ …If we could truly fathom the greatness of the gift, this ultimate honour, this good fortune – we would never want to leave the position of sujood.]
  • And whilst reading the Qur`aan Sharif in Salaah (and even outside Salaah) then think : This is the Kalaam (speech) of my Allah – of my Beloved. By contemplating the meaning of the verses that you are reading, think : I am listening to the speech of Allah Ta’ala.

And since you are reading His Speech, He is also listening to you … Therefore learn the meaning of the Surahs we normally recite in Salaah. It will not take long to do so, if a little is learnt every day.

  • And think : In this Salaah, in this Tilawat, in this Zikr, in this Hamd – I have the special attention of Allah Ta’ala. I have exclusive attention because this is my ‘Me`raj’; this is my conversation and communication with the Master of the Worlds. ….What a compounded bounty – SubhanAllah : So many gifts in the gift packaged as Salaah. How can any sane thinking Muslim ever refuse such a gift ?

In contemplating this, we will experience the beauty and sweetness and pleasure of Salaah … we will understand the Hadith in which Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) says that the coolness of his eyes is in Salaah. May Allah Ta’ala grant us the reality.

Rewards of Safeguarding the Eyes from Lustful Glances

Protection From Uneasiness

What is the first reward? It is protection from being uneasy. After staring at a female, one’s uneasiness increases. He feels, “I wish I could have got her.” You are therefore saved from uttering the word ‘wish’ and you are saved from expressing regret.

The first reward is thus called ‘protection from regret’. Now a person will not regret because he did not glance. The simple food of the house like chutney and roti will seem like biryani and plaow because it is a bounty granted by Allah. Tell me, if all the women of the world had to send biryani and plow for Majnun while Layla, whom he was madly in love with sent dry bread, whose food would he have eaten? He would have eaten Layla’s food and said, “This dry bread came from Layla’s hand.” Therefore the saints who are the lovers of Allah, regard their wives better than all the Laylas of the world. They know that Allah has granted them their wives.

That is the reason they live in peace. There is complete tranquillity in their homes. While on the contrary, those who gaze around here and there, are always perturbed and their homes have no blessing. Their homes are full of quarrels and fights because the husband has another woman in mind. His wife does not seem attractive anymore. Therefore, what is the first reward for safeguarding the gaze? It is protection from problems, uneasiness and regret.

The Sweetness Of Iman

The second reward is that one experiences the sweetness of Iman. Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has narrated a hadithe qudsi. The muhaditheen have stated that a hadithe qudsi is the statement of Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, which he narrates from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’la by saying, “Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’la says.”

Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has narrated in a hadithe qudsi that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’la said,

“The gaze is a poisonous arrow from among the arrows of Iblis (satan). Whoever protected his heart and gaze from this arrow due to My fear, I will grant him the sweetness of Iman that he will perceive in his heart.”

Due to the fact that he sacrificed the sweetness of his sight for Allah’s sake, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’la will grant him the sweetness of the heart. Allamah Ibn Qayyim (Rahimahullah) says that a person gave his basarat [gaze] and obtained basîrat [insight]. Basarat refers to sight. By sacrificing his sight, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’la gave him the reward of the sweetness of Iman in his heart.

A Good Ending

Mulla Ali Qari lived in Hirat and then emigrated to Makkah. His grave is in Jannatul Ma’la. He writes in the explanation of this hadith that whoever is granted the sweetness of Iman will most certainly die with Iman because Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’la will not grant the sweetness of Iman to one and then snatch it away. This is the third reward for protecting the gaze. Therefore, do a transaction of a good ending with Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’la by protecting your gaze wherever there are women eg. on the streets, airports, railway stations, shopping malls, etc. When the sweetness of Iman enters the heart, it never comes out again.

Expelling Qadyanis from college: Haven’t we forgot our Shariah?

Sunday, June 8th, 2008

via Awab’s blog:

BC Urdu reports that a group of 23 Ahmedi students having been expelled from a Medical College in Faisalabad on 4th June 2008. The pretext was that it would create a law and order situation because the Islami Jamiat-e-Talba (IJT) had protested that these students were propagating their religion which these students deny. Even if this were true, whether they have or do not have the right to do this can be looked at by a court of law. Expelling the students from the college is illegal and usurps the right of Pakistanis of any religion, color or caste to have education. Some of them have spent four or five years in this college already.

I don’t know how to react on such violent act by a student Union. I can’t grasp any genuine reason at all. Just because they were discussing their belief, they were expelled? Why? I mean what kind of Muslims are we that we feel so fragile in our beliefs that someone’s words would send us away from our religion. Now  I would like to ask IJT guys that how can we say anything to Americans and others NOT to do anything against Muslims while we ourselves doing same with minority. Can we convince them to allow us to preach Islam in US ? Will they allow us? What if they also expell us similarly? Why don’t such moron Muslims understand that dialogue is the best way to convince others about your own belief?  Don’t IJT guys think that we missed the chance to save these qadyanis to go in Hell by filling more hatered in them against us? Don’t they think they ruined the hopes of many families just because of their beliefs? Don\t they think that tomorrow their kids could be expelled from US due to caps and beareds? This is not good, this is not Islam. This is nothing but fascism. If you guys had no ability to spread blessings of Islams to them then it doesn’t mean you punish someone else for your own ignorance and mental impotency. I feel disgusting. What IJT guys did is not part of Islamic Tableegh. If it was then today Omar(RA) was remembered as an infidel rather a 2nd Caliph and great companion. We have really forgot our shariah. *sigh*- Our own belief has become so fragile tht we feel we would abandon Islam if we start living among Non-Muslims. Shame on us! Shame on us!

Why not Islam day or week?

Monday, May 12th, 2008

For past two days I have been seeing that Pakistani bloggers have been suffering from Mother’s Day phobia and trying to express their love for their respective mothers. As I mentioned here that idea of Mother’s Day or any other day is not only a copy cat Western idea but lame as well. For west such day could be justified because Western societies are already doomed and they don’t have a concept of respecting parents, having a family etc. So they found out a day to do things which is not part of their norms. This is why they celebrate days like father’s day,Mother’s day,Valentine’s day(to express love) because they try to amuse themselves. For us it’s part of our life, our society and our religion then why do we are seeking to represent us like them?

As I said several times that we are the nation which prefer to follow every lame thing done by West. We run away from those things of West(their positives) which COULD leave a good impact on us. Since West celebrates such days therefore we also try to celeberate it. After all Duniya K saath Chalna hay.

I was actually making thise post to ridicule such mentality which celebrates such days but suddenly I changed my topic. I thought, if we are so much fond of celebrating days then why don’t we ever try to celebrate a day as “Islam Day” or “Muslim Day” in which we try to implement Islam practically in our life and offer prayers and others things? Why don’t we bother ourselves to celebrate something like this in which we can try to follow Shariah for a week or even for a day? and if we don’t know a bit about it then atleast try to find out? Why do such things don’t come in our mind? just because it’s not glamourous and have no halla gulla and partying?no excuse to exhibit? We DO try to please a creature called MOTHER but never tried to please Allah who created not only us but our mothers as well? Ask yourself, the filth is in you! and when there is such filth then dramay bazi like mother’s day etc is just an excuse to fool yourself rather someone else.

Tauba Astaghfar and Shaitan’s ways to misguide Muslims

Friday, April 18th, 2008

Taqi Usmani sb has been blessed by Allah to spread His message in such a manner that listeners feel his words inside since he talks simple words. May Allah give him longer life and other Ulemas(ameen) since these people are like stars for us who always try to guide us no  matter who accepts it and who rejects it

Listen his latest Bayan in which Taqi sahab tells us about Shaitan’s ways to misguide those who try to follow the religion. Trust me whatever he mentioned in this bayan, at times I myself have felt like that and several times got disappointed. So no matter whatever comes in  mind, we should keep try to follow the religion even if we think we are not doing it properly.

DO LISTEN IT PLS!

Tableegh via Twitter

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

I really like twitter. This is such a handy service that it keeps your friends/relatives updated about your whereabouts and your ’status’. In my technical blog I made a post that this service could be used as a notification system for your own customized application since it’s possible via Twitter API.

An Islamic service has been started by someone whom I know. The service is based on twitter. Subcribers will get updates about Islamic info via SMS/email/Instant Messengers, depend on their settings. This service could be called an alternative solution of sending SMS to friends. By using twitter, the message of Allah could be sent globally easily. Since this service is being run by the person whom I know personally so there is no reason to create doubt that this is just another service by Qadyanis or other religion followers.  If you are a twitter user then log into your account and visit following URL:

http://twitter.com/muballigh

In case you don’t know what twitter is:

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send “updates” (or “tweets”; text-based posts, up to 140 characters long) to the Twitter website, via short message service (e.g. on a cell phone), instant messaging, or a third-party application such as Twitterrific or Facebook.

Updates are displayed on the user’s profile page and instantly delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them. The sender can restrict delivery to those in his or her circle of friends (delivery to everyone is the default). Users can receive updates via the Twitter website, instant messaging, SMS, RSS, email or through an application. For SMS, four gateway numbers are currently available: short codes for the United States, Canada, and India, as well as a United Kingdom number for international use. Several third parties offer posting and receiving updates via email.

So use it freely and pass this on to your friends. Jazakalllah.

Taliban or not taliban-II

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008
