Nikah

This time it’s not a joke like this one. Alhamdolillah I got married last week on 24th September,2009 here in Karachi with a lovely lady who is my wife now MashaAllah. Being a wannbe geek I wanted to broadcast the event LIVE from the venue which I was able to do successfully. Many of my friends and relatives who were not able to attend the event live joined my Nikah right from their computer from many parts of the world. I left Karachi after wedding cermonies and just came back so details later. Filhal enjoy the video which was broadcast at that time. Enjoy how Qazi Saab made my nikah memorable :-)

    Ibrahim,I don’t know why u re not able to listen it because I am still able to hear every word so my other friends.

    Actually, when the qazi asked whether I accept her as my wife, I immediately said,”Qabool hay” so Qazi saab went funny nd replied,”Bari Jaldi Qabool Karlia”..something like that and everyone over there who was listening it via speakers started laughing. That was such a shocking move by Qazi saab that even I could not have anything to say at all :-)

    Salamalaikum

    I listened to it again after I asked the question and finally understood what he said. You know, I see people wishing you with blissful living and such, which is good and important. But, also tell your wife that what’s this world (qul mat’a ad-dunya qaleel…say, the enjoyment of dunya is little), you want her to be your wife in the hereafter.

    So, I pray to Allah that He keeps you two together in this world upon goodness, and that He joins both of you together in jannat al-firdaws under the shade of His throne and amongst the anbiya, the shuhada, the sadiqeen and the saliheen.

    Also, I assume the first son you will get, inshaAllah, you will name him Ibrahim, right?

    by the Qazi Sahib – wow! What more can one ask for? That was both incredible and awesome!

    PS: Ibrahim name is a good suggestion by Ibrahim - besides I named my son that name also.
