Yep! Yestereve I came across very amazing and ajeeb verses of Surah Tauba(9:124-125)
And whenever a surah is revealed there are some of them who say: Which one of you hath thus increased in faith? As for those who believe, it hath increased them in faith and they rejoice (therefor).
But as for those in whose hearts is disease, it only addeth wickedness to their wickedness, and they die while they are disbelievers.
I am fortunate enough that I have come across both kind of people(yes they are people of my faith rather than non-Muslims). You can easily find such people who after knowing a bit of Islam starts giving fatwas and verdicts about those people of past who were far better than us but since this internet and blogging era has made every one a religious expert thus after reading few Internet sources or books, they think they are quite expert of what are they talking about.
One should remember that having a beard and wearing hijab does not give us license to start giving fatwas about the things which we ourselves are not aware of neither it gives us glad tidings of getting into Jannah. It’s just like that some school boy reads an article about software engineering in a paper and starts arguing about software methodologies with some computer engineer. How lame that would be. The Internet is filled with such religious morons. The funny part is that some of them in real life don’t even know how to treat with others yet they try to act up like pious souls on earth. No wonder Allah right said above:

Allah guideth to HIMSELF whom HE pleaseth . And for ALLAH seniority is not a criteria , if it was HE wouldnt have made Khalid Bin Waleed reach those heights of merit for Islam . Neither does ALLAH demands experience . Please dont compare ALLAH’s way with the way of the science books . This comes into anthromorphism . But ALLAH says in the bible , dont remember the chapter and the verse no ” My thoughts are not your thoughts , neither is My way like your way . For as the heavens are far above the earth so are My thoughts higher than yours and My way higher than your ways”
Recent Mullahs and Muftis and Ulemas have done so much damaged that is unprecedented to Islam . Most of the common sense people can easily point out the follies of the Barelvi sects and their bayans and their ulemas . But if you are an avid reader of Quran , then you can easily know why some 1 is wrong and why some 1 is right . Because ALLAH grants Furqan to HIS ibadees when they read the QURAN and open their hearts for guidance . Now barelvis are an easy case with their love for leisure and music , and their culmination in the graves .
But then there is the case of Deobandi Ulemas who sell their faith . One most popular and respected Mufti in this case is Taqi Usmani , who made RIBA (sood) Halal by some cheap trickstery . Then there are those who follow a part of the book where ALLAH has forbidden people to follow part of the book (2:85) , we have Tableeghi Jamaat as a prime example in this case . They on the outset are pious people , very lowly and modest . But then you have to be an avid reader of the Kalimat e Rabbi to know the difference , that these millions of people follow a part of the Deen , i.e there Deen is limited to talking about good stuff , but Bhalayi ka hukum daina aur Burayi se Rokna (Amr bil maaroof wa anhona anil munkar) , unn main hai hee nahi . They themselves claim that they are strictly apolitical , this is not the way of the Prophet they claim to follow . Jihad , Qitaal , Deen qaayim karna ye sab nahi hai , but you will find them giving long lectures about Sood haraam hai . Moreover the reason that they are allowed to roam around the world , when Islam itself is under attack is evident enough that this is the kind of DEEN that westerners are happy with . Islam as a political system is what strikes the westerners with disgust .
Moreover there are some sects and groups which might be following the complete scripture but they are strictly docile in the current environment . Lal masjid gave all the madaaris and all the religious organizations ample time to move forward and help their brethren who were fighting for the cause of ALLAH . But no 1 came forward , so yeah a sad case . Even Wafaq ul Madaris cancelled their membership .
No wonder we have Zardari as a president . If our clergy was even 90% true to their faith , this wouldnt have occured .
So yea those who learnt the book just now and who are frustrated by what is happening around them , they shall not be maligned on this or any other forum . Cause remember ALLAH doesnt need those 6ft beards . ALLAH is Ghani ul Alameen , if they dont do this ALLAH will bring a people . Here Allah describes how those people would be .
5:57 O ye who believe! If any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love [hubb] as they willlove [hubb] Him, — Lowly with the Believers, Mighty against the Rejecters, Fighting in the Way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the Grace of Allah, which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth. And Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things.
So yeah may be its the new converts or reverts who fit this description . But if you are talking about those who havent read the QURAN with understanding before venturing into the ‘calling good or bad’ business then may be you are partially right .
