Please pray for my friend

I just woke up after a 4 hrs sleep and came online and found a very old friend online after a month. The friend gave me a news which has made me restless a lot. My friend has been suffering from stomach cancer for last 4 months and my friend didn’t reveal me earlier because I myself got involved into things few months back that the friend did not consider to make me further upset and today my friend revealed about the disease. Doctors say that it’s a 6 years old problem which was recently discovered and will take atleast 2 years to get recovered. My friend is on herbal medicines since the family can’t afford expensive treatment. My friend lives in new Jersey.
I thought twice before making this post, whether I should do or not but thenI thought that Allah could accept anyone’s duas and there are people out there who are more closed to Allah, so maybe Allah hears their duas.
It’s a request that next time when you talk to your God, do give few words and few seconds to my friend too. I will be greatful of yours. Jazak Allah.
I have always admitted that Allah has given me some exceptionally amazing people in the world as friends who love and care me unconditionally. I am feeling so low that my friend just did not tell such big problem few months back because I myself was upset. What else would be called an unconditional love and friendship? and I always fail to do anything for them yet they never ask anything in return(And I really don’t deserve such wonderful treatment at all). The thing which often hurts me a lot that most of my closed friends are facing some crsis in their lives. Infact I should say they are fighting with their crisis and fighting well. I often wonder and think that why is like that the people I love most in my life are not happy in their own lives? Surely, Allah tests good people and they surely are the best of best. I am feeling low. I am so helpless that I can’t do anythig for my selfless friends who are always available whenever I need.
Anyways, remember my friend in prayers. Thankyou.

Please don’t feel helpless and don’t feel you cannot do anything for your friend in this situation: Dua is a real and effective thing that can be done for him. Allah surely responds and Allah definitely helps. May Allah help your friend…ameen

Sorry to hear that Adnan and i pray for your friend’s recovery.Cancer is such a sneaky disease.I lost a closed family member recently because of this and can relate how helpless one can feel during the whole ordeal. My thoughts are especially with the young man’s family.

Dua by itself is a very powerful tool in any good or bad circumstances. We all pray for your friend and don’t unnecessarily discourage yourself on the fact that your friends seem to be going through tense times these days. Instead pray!
