Mecca conquest 8th Ramadan

Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 1:38 pm

Today is 8th Ramadan, the day when our Prophet(SAW)  told world a unique kind of victory when He conquested His home town without shedding blood. That was the time when the Prophet(SAW) said historic words:

Say the Truth is come and falsehood gone; Verily falsehood is ever vanishing.

Mecca conquest was also mentioned in Bible Books like Duet and Song of Solomon

Those who says Islam spread by sword or Muhammad(saw)’s Islam is violent have no idea about this historical victory. Why to curse others when we Muslims also don’t know it. *sigh*

  1. Indeed Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) said it right.

Adnan, have you heard the series of lectures on ‘Seerat-un-Nabi’ by Sheikh Makki Hejazi? If you haven’t listened to it, I would highly recommend.

I think if you google, you can find his lectures in mp3.

  2. 8th Ramadan, a great date indeed, and a great hadith as well.

By the way, I am not sure, but I guess, it should be ‘has come’ instead of ‘is come’.

“Say the Truth HAS come and falsehood gone; Verily falsehood is ever vanishing.”
