Angoor Adda Raid:Why Adil Najam is quiet?

I have often seen Adil Najam sheding crocodile’s tears over different tragedies been happening due to suicide attacks which are result of our past govt’s US’ ass licking poicy and selling our people for sake of dollars.

Recently US Army initiated it’s first ground attack on Pakistani soil which reuslted killing of several innocent  me,women and kids in the name of war on terror. As usual our impotent parliment condemed it and got busy.

Adil Najam who claims to be a humanist usually breaks news regarding any terrorist activity on Pakistani soil and then he condemn the criminals so loudly that his voice is heard at White House by the officials. Fine, what he does is not wrong. Any sensible person would condemn such acts but then same Adil Najam hibernates in bin when it comes about activities done by American Army on Pakistani soil whether to kill Pakistani Army guys or killing of innocent people at Angoor Adda. Infact his website was busy at Jashni Faraz at that time.Wow

This is hypocrisy which every one should do. Offcourse Adil don’t shed tears for Pakistanis, it’s all to seek attention just like any other pro West media and gain points. If it’s all about Pakistan and Pakistaniat then why so called liberals like Najam,Raza and IFaqeer don’t raise voice against it or it’s just a US fashion to condemn any thing which is despised by Mama Washington? or they are scared enough to call spade a spade or it’s all about Nazirya-e-Zaroorat which forces em to stay quiet otherwise they will get a kick on back due to public condemnation?

Whatever it’s, it’s a plain hypocrisy. Irony is that it’s shamelessly done on public forums. May they get courage to come out of hypocrisy and use their powers to represent Pakistan in different US forums

Adil Najam has to live in US, how can he do that?

Do you want him to give-up his hard-earned-green-card and end up in Pakistan?

Pakistaniat apnee jagaaa aur asaan-zindagee apnee jagaa.

Jitney log blog likhtey hain unhain pata hai, unkee auqat aur unkee limits.

Hip-hop glamour bohat achaa lagtaa hai, magar waqaee qaum kaa dard rakhney waley ‘kam-uz-kam’ aaj kal baree dardnaak zindagee guzartey hain.

Adil Najam ko bhee Pakistan utnaa hee passand hai jitnaa unkee-zarooriat afford kar saktee hain.

Is it only Adil Najam’s prerogative to report on issues of national importance, failing to do which he will be declared a hypocrite and heretic? Why don’t people do things themselves instead of ranting on others? This seems like a case of misplaced anger

@Zenubia: It’s not a misplaced anger. You just don’t know and you just jumped into conclusion. Thanks for a visit.

hahaha.. adil najam must have resigned with musharraf as many of his fellow dogs did.

    Salamalaikum

Bro Adnan, you’re giving AN too much importance. The munafiqat of ATP is well known to those who are not blind. He doesn’t deserve a separate post.

Have you considered the fact that maybe BECAUSE people like Adil N. and I live in American, when we talk about things like Angoor Adda, we do it to Americans? I can’t speak for Adil Saahab; you can check in on what he says when he’s talking to Americans on, for example, National Public Radio (the US equivalent of the BBC, more or less):

    http://www.npr.org/search.php?text=adil+najam

In fact, it is easy to scream and shout and play on Pakistani emotions when talking to Pakistanis, judging from the picture you draw up yourself, it would take more courage to speak of these things while living in the US and talking to “Americans”, no?

Personally, as you MIGHT have noticed, I haven’t been writing/blogging/etc. much of late, but if you go through the archives of my blog, you will see that I haven’t been jumping on emotional issues, but actually proactively talking about things like Sen. Obama’s comments way before anyone was even taking him seriously as a candidate in the US:

    http://blog.ifaqeer.com/2007/08/pakistan-and-us-not-just-open-letter-to.html

And I continue to tell both people in his campaign and others that the one thing most Pakistanis remember from this campaign is Sen. Obama saying he will bomb Pakistan.

If one really wants to stand up for Pakistan and/or Muslims, it will take a lot more “hikmat” and “door-andeshi” than jumping up and down after the fact.

BTW, I AM working on a website that will take up these issues in ways that I think they should be handled. If you can interact in a less-than-angry way, in the spirit of “La Taghdhab” (http://www.islamworld.net/nawawi.html#hadith16), it would be great!

Adnan, I was the one who protested against the attacks and later I kept on wondering if any other blog has posted something related to those attacks. And believe me I was so disappointed to see about only a couple of posts out of at least 100 Pakistani blogs.

I recently started blogging I guess on 17 August, 2008 so I am not yet much popular among the Pakistani bloggers. But I strongly believe that you should at least be sincere in this field.

I also posted the article at global voices. I further displayed a badge of protest at my blog.

Americans are attacking our soil, but that doesn’t matter .. you see, we have democracy na!

    :)

@zenubia: its very well placed and focused anger! With great power comes great responsibility. The readership numbers that pakistaniat boasts of, it puts a teeny tiny bit of responsibility on their shoulders.
If bloggers become indifferent to issues like this, then what would be the difference between blogs and the “independent media” that everyone in Pakistan is trumpeting about!

as I said earlier that you guys suddenly become apologists and get scared that if you say a word against Washington machinery you people would get a kick on back and would be deported?

Who asked you people start crying infront of US. It’s all about how serious you are and how much you guys are opportunists.

Despite of admitting how much I despise Jews due to their policies against Muslims, I gotta admit that their left, right and center, all kind of Israelities are willing to serve what their elders told about the purpose of Land. Something which is not among Muslims, they rather have cults like Liberals and secularists who are busy to act like devil’s advocate all the time. Bastards like Hoodboy feel no shame to endrose US invasion in Pakistan. I wonder how long such American nipple suckers would prevail? one day they would have “Kuttay Ki maut” in some pub of US and no one would be there to remember them.
