Barelvis in action
We are heading to 12th Rabiulawwal and also heading towards ignorance. Since the day one of 1st Rabiul awwal , the so called moderate Barelvis have hijacked the area of Jamshed town officially. They have been busy to show and shower their love for Muhammad(SAW) on roads.
If you go from Gurumandir to Saddar area, you will find lots of buildings have been decorated with lights to celebrate “birthday” of our Holy Prophet(SAW). Despite of energy crisis in Pakistan, nazim of Jamshed town officially announced to misuse of power in the name of Muhammad(SAW) . They also have been playing Jhankar or I say Remix Naats on big loud speekers. The funniest thing is installment of Green Flags everywhere from Nazimabad Chowrangi to Lines area as if Muhammad(SAW) would come down on earth and route via those places(Godforbid). More on that they have installed a model of Ka’aba on main Numaish Chowrangi.
These things were not present 15-20 years back but these hari pagri wallas and barelvis didn’t want to stay behind from Shias and they decide to compete with them.
Irony is that same Barelvis call their opponents as terrorists and backward all the time because they don’t follow their glamourous version of Islam. They call them Jihadists and people who impose Islam forcefully. Now I ask all those educated retards that what would you call this when I go home from office, I am forced to listen Jhankar Naats despite of I don’t want it? where is your lesson of moderation and tolerance? where is your lesson of being sensible while your own guys are being fanatic these days in the name of Islam.
Being a family member of a Barelvi family, I myself well aware what kind of crap is usually followed in Barelvi community. Hopefully in future I would be emphasizing more on Barelviat in future posts.

Top class…great post. Those jhankar naat are terrible and if you listen to the lyrics most of them are usually filled with shirk…Allah’s help is sought.

Well, don’t count out that notion. The Bralwis belief that Rasoolullah (saw) is hazir wa nazir and that’s why in most milad ceremonies they leave an empty chair for Rasoolullah (saw)…Astaghfurullah. This is COMPLETE SHIRK. So, I won’t be surprised that they might believe that Rasoolullah will take a guard of honor from nazimabad and onwards!!!
Hopefully in future I would be emphasizing more on Barelviat in future posts.
I’m with you on this, inshaAllah. The Bralwis (figureheads and ‘practicing ones’)have completely messed up the Tawheed in Islam. I hope, inshaAllah, that your family was Bralwi in name…meaning, that they had bidaat but not shirk in them, which is the case with most of the so called “Bralwis”. I hope you’ve made dawah to your family inshaAllah. I ask Allah to reward you with good in this life and in the hereafter.

Adnan don’t be racist. It’s ok bear their love for Muhammad(Saw) May be they are not showing off may be some of them. It’s really blessing those who are not showing off . I am against Naat in Heavy volume.

There are atloeast 2 kind of ppl in every group, one who set rules and others who follow them. Those barelvis who set such rules in name of showing love are more pathetic than those who follow them(unintentially may be) but then God has given brain to everyone to figure what’s right and what’s wrong.

Adnan, don’t be racist and don’t be angry… just don’ be racist hahahah… I think evey one can show it faith at he wants… if 20 years ago things was differents that now, is good, it means that even that past 20.30 0r 40 years people find new ways of show their faith… I think you must get more fun… If in pakistan there is energy problems is not because this people use ligths for their celebration is because your goverment is like shit.
Relax and you keep your tradictions, faith as you wish… but don’t say that others are ignorants because they have or create a different way for show their faith… is the same, but different… you don’t figth with this people, Pakistan and islam have other enemies.
In what group are you Mister Adnan, the one that set rules or the one that follow rules? For me no matter what groups, both are pathetic… I think the love for god is free and nobody must make or follow “rules”… love is the only important.

Bro, these kind of discussions normally has no end. I think celebration of Meelad-un-Nabi is 100% Alright, now your points over electrcity crisis won’t effect me or anyone who wants to celebrate his prophet’s meelad. Because I & everyone knows electricity problem is not just because of these lights.
Adnan may be related to Dev(Deo) bund (I assume) they actually have problem with celebrating Wiladat-e-rasool(saw). I have seen many cases reasoning and arguing about it but actually they have problem with celebrating particularly “Wiladat-e-paak”. Everything is alright but they pick particularly this event.:)
Believe me they don’t have any problem if they celebrate any family member birthday.

bralvis have made islam, as money making thing. They earn by such things. Ppl give them money if they want children etc etc. But those cheapster bralvis, who cant help their selves, how can they help those poor ppl.
Bralvi-ism is to illetracy basicall.y you will many many illiterate persons among them , rather than educated persons, whether they have islamic education or worldy degrees

Kashif, why is like that negating Barelvis means Deobandis? I don’t believe in such crap of DeVand ,Barelvis etc. Why on earth do I have to associate myself to some XYZ maslak while Hadith and Sunnah and then teachings of 4 Immams are enough.
I don’t bother what Deobandis think. All I ask that show me referrence in Quran or hadith that Sahabis(RA) used to do all such Halla Gulla and masti on Rasool(SAW)’s Birthday or used to make Models of Kaba and Masjid Nabvi(saw) on roads?
try to follow Original Teachings(Quran and hadith) rather following what some one had said few centuries back.

Celebration of Meelad-un-Nabi is in original teachings of Islam, dont worry about it. Don’t ask for references you look so good in searching things on Internet

hey now you are running away. don’t count on what I can search or not. If you are discussing/debating something then back it with referrence, if can’t then nothing wrong to admit it that you follow it because people of your family follow it.
I even wonder that how sure you are that birth date of Muhammad(saw) is same as his Death date? you heard this one too from elders?
