Karachi ek Shahar thaa…
Mir Taqi Mir, the famous Urdu poet and resident of Delhi,India couldn’t control his emotons after continous damage and said a classic shair which can’t be forgotten.
Dilli Ek Shahar thaa Alam mey Intikhab
Hum Rehne walay hain Usi Ujray Dayar Kay
Currrent situation of Karachi after Bhutto’s assassination is very severe. Even situation got worst again today after spreading rumors and all banks, shops were ordered to shutdown by unidentified people.
Few Karachiites took the picture of ruined Karachi and after seeing these pictures, I was forced to alter Mir’s shair as:
Karachi Ek Shahar thaa Alam mey Intikhab
Hum Rehne walay hain Usi Ujray Dayar Kay
See below and tell that am I not right?

It’s true that killing of Bhutto is nothing but barbariac act. I am not a pro-PPP person but I equally condemn and feel sad about the incident. I am also sad for those poor Pakistanis who also lost their lives in same accident but they are not being covered at all since they are ordinary Pakistanis rather relative of some Bhutto. There is some magic in name Bhutto that’s why even Benazir’s own son Bilawal zardari changed his naem to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. I think we ordinary people should also add Bhutto as suffix in our names, may we get some attention?

this name change is due to the fact that BB said ” bhuttu factor shud never be eliminated from PPP”
youn tu syed bhee ho , mirza bhee ho , afghan bhee ho
Tum sabhi kuch ho batao tu musalaman bhee ho?

Karachi for long has been the rubbish landfill site of Pakistan. The harassed Karachiwalas have been putting up with injustices and miserable system. Some of these problems may have to do with political policies of the central government and some due to local thugs running the show by remote control. In such a situation, many residents have become either indifferent or baygariat (“Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad.”) Some who are able to leave the city do it while others are putting up with the daily stress, health and security problems. But those who are busy in doing good works and ibadaat are able to somehow carry on.
May Allah bless Karachi.

Karachi has a very high population and a high proportion of them are idle. A lot of people have nothing to do so they just get too emotional in political events and cause havoc.
