This is same Imran Khan
This picture you are seeing above is Cricket Legend Imran Khan who was mistreated by IJT Student wing goons of psuedo religious party Jamat-e-Islami and Administration of Punjab University when he reached there to address students about recent political crisis in Pakistan after Martial law.
If one remembers, this is same Imran Khan who first gave us Worldcup Cricket in 1992:

and then Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital for Cancer patients who are served free.
Regardless of his political point of view, one should not forget what he has done as a common man for his fellows. Trust me nobody could say a word if Imran would not have decided to build a hospital. Who are we? do we like interference by others? He had right to spend money and fame whereever he wanted. It’s a big big Ehsaan of Him and then several unsung Pakistani Heroes and Heroines who said Labbaik on His call and helped him to give us something which we didn’t deserve at all.
I have right to go against Imran Khan due to political point of view but what he has done for us can’t be ignored by any Pakistani. I feel we don’t deserve any good thing in this country and we were made to get screwed by generals, feudals, policians and several other kind of thugs.
Was Imran humilated? No. Was Humanity was offended? Absouletly Yes.
Those who hate Imran should have moral courage NOT to visit his cancer hospital to treat anyone in their circles.
This is not first time. Imran was offended at that time as well when MQM goons urinated all walls of Karachi by expressing their party menifesto in the form of Imran Harami, Imran Zaani and Imran Najaiz Baap ki Aulaad
The cancer which we have given as Pakistani nation to Imran is so severe that it can’t be cured in his own hospital. *sigh*

Frankly, I don’t see a difference between those three pictures. They are all pictures of one of Pakistan’s favourite sons serving his nation.
I am not a big fan of Imran Khan, but those three pictures all make me equally proud to have him as a Pakistani.
Imran bhee maangay azaadi
Kissan bhee maangay azaadi…

Thats really very sad and disappointing !! Even Imran Khan must be wondering all of his life and money for what?? The day he was locked for 2 hours because he went to express an opinion and justify it.

Imran was and is hero of this nation. We all love him and feel proud to have him in us.

Mazaq Mian, I thought to ignore you at first place but then decided to speak to you once. it seems you have been sleeping other side of the bed these days or your family is not paying attention at you. Some family issue? you can share with me rather throwing up frustration here and there and become reason of embarrassment for your own.
FYI, I never claimed to be religious. Thanks for mighty ignorance you declared me one. However I believe that being psuedo something is not different than being *anonymous cowards* like you who don’t have moral courage to talk someone in original identity. Aurto k tarha parda k pechay chup kar galian deyna chor bhai.
Unlike KMB, you are free to troll here However I must say that trolls r not my cup of tea.
Have fun!

Good post. Regardless of his views he stands out for his passion for Pakistan and for speaking his mind. This is NOT the way he should have been treated - its shameful.

hi adnan,
i log on to your blog once in a while… just to see what’s going on in people’s minds across the border (i’m in india)… the comments by the people on your blog are as important as your blogs themselves. they give us an idea about what’s on peoples’ minds.
i agree with your blog about paying respects to sportspeople of one’s country. sports is something which breaks barriers and brings people together. imran khan is a dynamic personality who is greatly respected in india for his cricketing skills.
i wish peace and prosperity for both our countries. hi to all of you across the border.
take care.
ankur.

Do you actually consider Imran Khan a politician? do you actually consdery this hypocrat a selfless being? Then may be it because population like you that ill fated politicians have been selected again and again in the poor running history of our great nation. When he was a criciter he destroyed careers of cricket greats like Shoaib Mohammad, Saleem Yousuf, Javed Miandad etc and now that he has become a politician his strong views are trying to supress the development of our homeland.
A man who met a jewish girl through his play boy personality and then cried a river to build a hospital (funded by jewish money in the begining), who has a bastard child with another lady can actually stand and talk about democratic goverment is a mere joke. Initially he was against Nawaz, Fazl and Bibi and when his butter didnt melt he went on supporting the corrupt three.
The thing is Pakistani live a short term memory where they forget everything after a few years. Read history of Imran Khan properly…how many cricikets couldnt become the front runners because of him. If he comes into politics then you would have to say bye to the little fredom we have today.
Truth is, Pakistan has never been more democrating than under Mr. Musharaf’s power..

He couldnt run a cricket team and he thinks he can run Pakistan…
He is on a path of self destruction…
