and BTW, No sport you can say that not associated with a Religion. I made few posts about Same issue. Remember when Ireland defeated us in WC and Irish captain hailed St.Patrick day and said that the victory was due to blessing of the day?

actually i don’t mind if u talk abt pakistan and islam and link the two, but ur thrust is always to link India with Hinduism and look at everything through a religious prism. people are complex and religion is but one aspect of us. i hoped people understood this after bangladesh.

Open mindedness means looking at things as they are. i encourage u to write abt islam, write an informative peice abt it. i’ll really appreciate it if i learn something new or if the peice is written beautifully. we only use religion as an extension of our ego, hence we link it with sport, politics, war, power struggle etc. religion is beautiful as a link between our soul (different from ego) and God (Allah). write abt it and u’ll see nobody will cringe. then write abt sport and nobody will complain. i think its lack of openness that u see everything i say as something anti islam (or anti religion) when i’m NOT. I’m anti using religion as a slave of our ego. I hope you understand. i know u r a young man and consequently quick to say something witty, but take ur time sometimes.

@tripple: No lack of openness is that whenever you found a keyword religion, your system alarms you to react. May be this true form of secularism? Religion is not something which one feels ashamed of, yeah Ignorance is something which could make someone embarrass. You’re entitled to your opinion while I am mine. I have made few posts about same issue(Sports and Religion) and you also contributed one of them. I explained in that post and other how a player can’t free himself from his religious belief. Infact Not associating religion with anything is a *belief* itself- Let’s agree to disagree.

Again, u r thinking I’ve something against religion, when i have an open mind abt it. infact i’m keenly interested in religion. love reading abt buddha’s journeys and sufi saints and their songs. deep meaning. love narrating hanumana’s exploits to my kid nephew and like to do yoga and hindu meditation. what makes u think i’m averse to religion? because i don’t want to mix cricket and politics and religion? so what am to believe, that australians are world beaters because they are devout christains as compared to other non christains or more secular christains in UK? so christianity is superior to other religions? that US is the most powerful or Israel so advanced in technology because of the superiority of their religions? frankly thats bullcrap and people only bring in religion when it suits their ego. thats what u do when u want to talk abt cricket or politics and pamper ur ego but never admit to anything i said abt superiority of other religions (an equally stupid claim, but hurts ego). any case, driven by ego, its diff to introspect. hence failure of ur country too to correct course. zid pe utar aana is not a wise thing in itself.

When seculars of my country can destruct mosques then I have no right to blame others. Infact those millitants are no different than seculars who destructed mosques in Pakistan. But then I am thankful of God that Pakistan doesn’t promote itself so called SECULAR like India where Hindu religion “unofficially” official religion who hurt minorities like Muslims ,dalits whenever they want. Those who live in glasshouse don’t throw stones on others. Friend, better you worry about the filth within your state. Don’t worry about us.
