Star of David on Pakistani flag?
Recently GEO conducted a talk show on the occasion of 60th Birthday of India and Pakistan where guests from both sides attended the show. Dr. Shahid from Pakistan and Barkha Dutt of NDTV from India were hosts of the program called Hamaray Mutabiq.
The backstage was a TV screen showing flags of Pakistan and India . The Pakistani flag showed Star of David (Jewish sign) instead of the regular five-pointed star.
Star of DAVID is a religious symbol for Jews and this sign also exist on Israeli flag.
In case if you don’t remember Pakistani flag or never seen it:
Can you see the difference? Pakistani flag has five-pointed star while Star of David is a six-pointd star.
Now the question is, was it Intentional? If No the it’s a serious blunder by Geo TV and GEO should seek public apology because it’s like making a mockery of Pakistan infront of world otherwise people don’t seem to call GEO TV a Jew TV.
I wonder Dr.Shahid didn’t notice that who did several programs about Jewish(Read Zionists activities) in the world?

A member of naseeb.com posted the link of Youtube videos about the program. It’s weired! At first it looks that it’s a 5ponted star but infact it’s a 6-pointed star.

Please don’t make a fuss. It is a mistake most probably but we should stop blaming everything onto Jews every time.

Shahid Bhai was busy watching Ms. Dutt so hadn’t noticed an extra corner in the star. What’s the big deal?

It is bitter exam for the pakistanies and the government officials who participated in this programme with paying attention on the flag, Government and Public should bycot this TV channel that they should realize that what they had did may be they wanted to test the citienz of pakistan how would they respnd like the reaction of muslims on publishing toons for Prophet PBUH

BitterTruth,Mian i am not making a FUSS!. I am just reporting it which is usually done by bloggers. Nobody is blaming to jew, just said that star of david is symbol for jews, a BIG difference!

Gosh! I saw the programme too and never noticed it! Im sure no one in the panel did too because they all had their backs to it. Reminds of the masonic symbols and subliminal messages in various movies and disney cartoons!

Those who ask “whats the big deal?” should know that even small matters make a difference. This is what Muslims have been doing for the past 200 years, ignoring the minutest of matters. Thats the reason today Muslims have lost identity, no one listens to their heartiest cries - cuz Muslims themselves endorse such things by saying “whats the big deal?”….. Please come out of the deep slumber my dear brothers in Islam, before its waaay too late.

The issue of concern here is that an error on our flag went unnoticed and uncorrected…not that the blunder somehow pertained to Jews.

This is no blunder, whoever thinks so is utterly naive or is least bothered about the media brainwashing going on in the entire muslim world.
If today this doesnt seem like a big issue to you, tomorrow opening ties and being allowed visits to Israel wouldn’t either, as Fariha said, what’s the big deal (shrug your shoulders)!
If it was a professional mistake, why was it a 5 pointed star at first and why did it suddenly turn into a 6 point star in the second part?!
We’re too busy watching Star Plus and Kyun Ke Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, no one cares about our country, we take everything for granted, even religion has been modified to our own liking, a great example being the new “”Ahle-Quran”", shown and advertised in the new Pakistani blockbuster by Shoaib Mansoos; ‘Khuda Kay Liye’ and followed by the elite and celebrities of Pakistan to justify acting, singing and consumption of alcohol etc.

@/kashif and bitter truth, i think that every one who is still in love with there bubble protected life can start stop blogging because, bloggers are posting just to point out things that we normally don’t look at, a personal view that should be shared, we are Muslims and we will never accept that our nations flag would have a jews symbol on it. if you still remember this country comes under the Islamic republic of Pakistan. not the Jewish republic of Pakistan.

How can the guy make the image and still have a job?
We don’t respect our flag, we have taken the country for granted and have become very ungrateful to Allah for the blessing.
