Yes, we DO love Pakistan

BuzzVines has started an online Movement to create awareness of freedom and independence. Pakistanis are thankless nation that they seldom value their country. They are mostly busy to screw it up. Interesting thing is that we call our country Mother Land but then we are always ready to screw it up, screwing the Mother Land!!, doesn’t it sound sick?? Actually we have not suffered like Kashmiris and Palestinians that’s why we don’t give up our pathetic activities which are harmful for Pakistan.

I am honored and thankful to BuzzVine Administration that they considered me worthy enough and asked me to join this movement. I am very much agreed with them and have added the promotional image on my blog. Thanks for tagging BuzzVines!.

Since we are talking about Pakistan and 14th August, it’s usually being observed that Pakistani are not so enthusiastic like they used to be in past. I kinda disagree because things were very different in Past than today. 2007 was one of the bloodiest year in the history of Pakistan where we have been facing lots of difficulties. The other thing is that most of us in past were kids and now grownup men and women so obviously we feel more vacuum than anyone else but the beautiful fact is that our kids still celebrate 14th August like we used to do in past. Is it not beautiful? Is it not thrilling?

Also, it’s said that we don’t love our country and the reason is given that we are involved in corruption, looting, cheating others etc etc. Fine this is true but does that mean we don’t love our country? the mother land? How many of you are 100% obedient kids of your parents? you don’t show off your love for your parents all the time, you also don’t listen them but if any of them fells ill, you just forget everything as nothing exist other than parents. Same thing is with Pakistan. We do love Pakistan but we don’t care of it, we don’t show off love but when our country suffers we become a united nation and gets ready to help our brothers and sisters. This is not a fairy tale, something like that happened after Oct’05 Earthquake in Pakistan when everyone was desprate to help victims regardless of colur, race and community. Everyone at PAF base was busy to help. I myself witnessed that both bicycle owner and BMW owner were working together. There was no difference at all. Why don’t I experience similar feeling all the time? Is it necessary that we suffer then we demonstrate our love for Pakistan. In Urdu it’s said, Latoun K bhoot batoun se Nahi mantay, we re just like that and I think there is a dire need of changing attitude. People don’t respect others anymore. Everyone has become selfish. This is the selfishness which is the core problem of traffic jams in Karachi. I am damn sure that even if you make thousands of underpasses, flyovers or subways, we would keep complaining about traffic jam issues because construction of flyovers and underpasses doesn’t construct our attitude.

If there are lots of bad and negative examples in our society, there are some beautiful examples as well which give us hope that our future is not so dark. Just look at the following picture which published in DailyTimes.

From the source:

Aslam Pervez, a disabled man, arrives in Islamabad from his native town Ummarkot, Sindh. He claims to have travelled this distance on his hand-driven cycle to promote the cause of peace in Pakistan. He plans to celebrate Independence Day in Islamabad. shabbir hussain

See, people like Aslam gives us hope that not everyone in this country is selfish. People like Aslam also make us embarrass that despite of being normal human beings with all organs intact, we are more disabled than Aslam. Actually we are more lower than Aslam. Allah just made him physically disabled while we made ourselves mentally disabled. Our minds are nothing but infertile wombs which can’t produce anything constructive. How pity we are ,ain’t we?

I don’t know how things will get changed, who will change us. All I know that we have to bring changes ourselves because Allah clearly told us that He(SWT) would not be helping hands for those nation who themselves are not willing to accept changes. We actually don’t like to accept changes and prefer to live in state of Inertia. Sometimes we reject things by saying, These Mullahs are just to lecture us all the times while sometimes we reject to bring changes by saying, Govt sucks ,system sucks and we can’t perform well. It has become our national game to blame others. This blame game is leading us towards nothing.

I can just hope that we just change our attitude. We should start thinking about others. We should start thinking about future generations. Our generation and our past generations have suffered a lot and the only reason behind this that they didn’t strive to bring changes and continued the blame game. Atleast we should think about our future generations. When I see cute kids on roads who are begging , I just get trembled due to fear that what kinda future lot of Pakistan are we producing? Try to see Pakistan thru the eyes of your kids. Even If you don’t have kids, just step out of your home and you would see lots of lovely flowers around who are our future. See Pakistan thru their eyes. Try to see Paksitan thru the eyes of those kids who died during Lal Masjid operation, you might see nothing but blood which just covered all their dreams which can’t be fulfilled now *sigh*. Live for others, do something for our future generation please! you don’t have to be some politician, nazim or a leader, all is required Pakistaniat which is driving force for us.

God bless Pakistan and God bless our future generation. Ameen
