Junaid Jamshed Interview about His Life and Music

In past I had shared a video of Junaid Jamshed’s interview about changes in his life after studying Islam. Since Junaid is being discussed again due to heavy criticism by shoaib Mansoor who have gone mad so much that he made a movie to offend him and his belief. Offcourse I didn’t buy lame theory of Shoaib and rejected it. This evening I came across yet another interview of Junaid Jamshed along with others like Saeed Anwar and Waqar in which he was answering youth about his new life. Wallah! I just say Mashallah when I listened him and responded to those kids. Mashallah he has become very mature. The way he explained to kids was awesome and definately we need people like Junaid who opt a different approach to teach Islam to others. JUnaid appeared very honest in his interview. he honestly admitted that he used to hate molvis specially tableeghis and bearded men. Junaid Also said same thing which I had said in my own post that Music makes you forget Allah. I wouldn’t say more. Just listen him. I am more convinced that Junaid did the right thing and we need more people like Junaid Jamshed.

I am an Indian living in a Delhi suburb. I watched Shoib Mansoor’s film Khuda Ke Liye in Goa Film Festival last year and watched it again today with my wife and six year old daughter. I had liked the film then and today not only I liked the film again but my wife and daughter liked it too.

I know a little bit about film making and I am not saying that the film is ‘technically perfect’. This is Shoib Mansoor’s debut film and it should be seen as such. But the question he has raised in this this film are vital not only in the context of Pakistan but the Islamic world as a whole.

I for one firmly believe that every human being is entitled to have his or her own religious views but he or she has no right to impose his or her views on others. The main problem with today’s “JIHADIS” is that they want to impose their will on the entire world. This is sheer madness to say the least.

Shoib Mansoor has raised another vital question in the film about the true knowledge of Islam. Quraan clearly states that Muslim man and woman can marry
man and woman of other religions of book. How many Muslims know that? Now the
“KATHMULLAS” say that such marriages are valid only if they convert to Islam. Apply your brains for God’s sake. If that was the case why did God used the term “Ahl-e-Kitaab” in Quran. He could directly say that Muslim man and woman can only marry to Muslim man and woman. Tell me if a Buddhist converts to Islam will he or she not be entitled to marry a Muslim man or woman? Jihadis are taking advantage of the ignorance of Muslims. Unfortunately Muslims do not read Quran and Hadith to know their rights and obligations as Muslims.

The film also highlights the contradictions Muslims living in the West are facing. They migrated to the West in the 50s, 60s and 70s in search of a better economic life. Most of them were semi literate or illetrate all together. They did every thing that was necessary to survive there from cheating and lying to having sex with native woman without giving a damn to Islam and its teachings. Now the same people do not hesitate to hand over their daughters to wolves like “Sarmad” in the name of family honour and Islam. Husain Shah is ready to live with a white woman without marrying her but can not allow her daughter to marry an “AHL-E-KITAAB” legally and according to the teachings of Quraan of course.

To be fair to Shoib Mansorr he did not spare the Western Governments and Intelligence Agencies either. The Western powers particularly America promoted fundamentalism in this part of the world when it was convenient for it and now the same countries are waging the war against their former disciples in the name of “war against terrorism” My contention is that the Jehadis were the agents of the Western intelligence agencies then and they are their puppets now.

As Muslims we need to think about these issues seriously and without being sentimental. If we failed to do so now time will not allow to do so a few years later.

    Ironically Shoaib Did Same.

Dude, I will not ask yo to use your BRAIN. I will just ASK you to read QURAN carefully what Allah said. Only Muslim MEN can marry Ahl-e-Kitab. Muslim WOMAN CAN’T MARRY AHL-KITAB. Read the Quran first then argue please. Now if you think This law is unjust. Curse God and complain Him why did he do this thing.

No. To be fair, he failed to produced reality in it either? Now where on earth it happened in US that a guy with a guitar is grabbed by CIA and labeled as terrorist? it’s over fictitious thing.
