As I informed you in my earlier post that Imam of Ka’aba Shaikh Sudais would perform Imamat of Salat-e-Maghrib at Badshahi Masjid, yesterday the world witnessed the great event that lahoris showed their love for Islam and for Imam by offering prayers behind Shaikh Sudais. I couldn’t find the exact figure but rough estimation is that around a million people in and out of Masjid performed Namaz behind Shiakh.  This is the same mosque where famous Qari Basit also recited Quran.

Who says Pakistanis have no interest in Islam? the picture is enough to give proof that Pakistanis still love Islam despite of experiencing Musharraf’s pathetic enlightment and moderation. Go to Makkah and Madina and you will learn yourself how much Pakistanis have passion for Islam. We don’t experience it in our daily life because these innocent people have no one to guide them properly plus they are also attacked by western culture and values on state level, otherwise if one guides them properly them properly then Pakistanis are more Islam loving nation than anyone else. After all, we are the nation who belongs to a country which was propheized by the Prophet(saw) 1500 years back. The other thing which I noticed that more poor people men and women were in that sacred gathering than anyone else.

I was just wondering How Shaikh would be feeling after offering Imamat and Namaz at Badshahi Masjid or any other place in Lahore. A person who spent his life to offer Namaz infront of Black Ka’aba building wold be feeling strange for offering not infront of Ka’aba. I felt this because when I offered salat infront of Ka’aba most of my time during my Umrah trip, I felt a bit restless when I went o madinah. But then, I knew that I am in house of My Prophet(saw) who is darling of Allah but frankly I felt very strange and uncomfortable when I performed Asar at my home after returning back. So, when I felt this then what would be shaikh’s feeling? Only Allah and Shaikh knows the best. The difference is, Shaikh will Inshallah return back to Makkah while I don’t know when wil I go back.

Anyways, Shaikh Sudais will be performing Imamat Friday prayers at Shah Faisal Masjid Islamabad. I don’t know why he’s not coming Karachi.

I just pray that all who offerd Namaz behind Shaikh get chance to go Makkah and offer Namaz behind Shaikh-Ameen.

As I already mentioned in my pevious post that Shaikh Abdul Rahman As Sudais are in Pakistan these days.

This morning Shaikh Sudais performed Imamat of Fajar Salat at Jamia Ashrafia Lahore and several well-known scholar attended the salat. It was also reported that that The masjid of Jamia Ashrafia which have capacity of only 5,000 people ,witnessed the attendence of 1,000,000 people,0.1 million men and women who attended the Fajr in the Imamat of Shaikh. I got chance to watch LIVE TRansmisson of that salat and I can feel how people would be feeling lucky to offer salat behind Shaikh Sudais and why Not? He’s one of my favorite scholar which makes me feel every word of Quran which he recites. ARY and GEO reported that people were crazy to see him once. They were running after his car when he left the Masjid.

Shaikh will be performing Salat-e-Maghrib this evening at Badshahi Masjid where its benig expected that thuosands of people from all over the Pakistan goign to attend that event. ARY and ONE WORLD will be shownig it LIVE from Badshahi Masjid. SO stay tuned and turn your TV on after 6 PM evening.

Imam of Ka’aba and very famous and beloved Quran recitor Shaikh Abdul Rehman As-Sudais are visiting Pakistan for 5 to 6 days trip. He was invited by Chaudhary Brothers, Ch.Shujat and Ch.Pervaiz Elahi.  Ary and Geo showed live telecast of his address from Ch.Shujat’s place where he was invited for dinner. Other scholars like Molana Tariq Jamil,Molana Jalandheri etc also attended the cermony. The cermony was looking very great. Though I didn’t deserve for that company but I wish i was able to meet all those scholars including Shaikh Sudais in real life. Yes,  I am one of several millions who would have offered salat behind Shaikh Sudias in Baitullah Shareef. Thankful of Allah

The shaikh will do Imamat of Fajr Prayer at Jamia Ashrafia and then would lead prayer of Maghrib at Badshahi Mosque tomorrow. ARY Channel will telecast it live from Badshahi Masjid.

I wish he visits Karachi but I think this is not in his schedule. I also don’t know why the channels didn’t cover entire cermony. I don’t know why? :S though same channels don’t wait a moment when a President or Chief Justice appear on TV.

Those who have been reading my blog for last 2 years would have noticed that I am a big fan of Maulana Tariq Jamil and it’s quite true. I started hearing him in 2005 and still love to listen him. Infact  I heard him first time when I used to go my office in defence via Safari coach from Civic Center. At that time I didn’t know who is the person. Maulana Tariq Jamil Sahab is very popular due to his Awami style and several people in and out of Pakistan are used to listen his Bayans.

But.. you will get surprised that first ever tableeghi bayan which I ever heard was by Hakim Akhter Sahab(DB) in 1997 when my Internet friend Imran paracha who used to live in Gulshan at that time and student of khanqah forwarded me khanqah’s website. At that time I didn’t pay much attention and I just listened one or two bayans and didn’t listen again as I had not much Interest in religion during varsity days. Hakim Akhter Sahab(DB) is very different than Tariq Jamil Sahab and people like me who are used to of Tariq Jamil sahab bayans but I must say that both religious celebrities are worthy and asset for misguided people like me.

Now there is a great news for those who live abroad and can’t attend Akhter Sahab(DB)’s Mehfil physically. Tariq Mustafa a.k.a TeeEmm who was famous due to his articles for Spider Internet Mag and associated with Khanqah’s made a marvelous effort to relay Bayans live from Khanqah. I was very very pleased when I read this news because I strongly believe in using of state of art latest technology to spread word of Allah and always wished that muslims professionals utilize their skills to serve Islam because this is the best way you can serve your Ummah. I must congratulte Tariq Sahab for his effort. Jazakallah!. The content of his email is given below.

yes it was. As you can see in pics here. This was one of the bloodiest day in history of Karachi when entire city was hijacked by a party who came up as a supporter of urdu speaking people who are in majority here.

Lots of people saying lots of things. Majority believes it’s being done by MQM and Musharraf supports them. I am also one of them who thinks like that. While some people blaim CJ for all this which itself is laughable statment. AS I said Once tht I am not in mood of blogging anymore. Today’s incident made me to make a post about it.
