Salamalikum,

I read this post and above where you mentioned about you suspending your blogging days. About this: From Raza Khan Bralvi, who issued a takfiry fatwa of Deobandis, to today Bralvi make takfir of Deobandis. So, this is not new and is a bogus claim. I didn't know you belonged to Bralvi school because what I read from you didn't seem consistent with one. You sounded more Deobandi to me. In fact, the very first opinion of you that I had was that you were ahl-e-hadith because you don't believe in blind following, etc. I hope you don't believe that Rasoolillah (saw) was a noor and not a bashar, in milad, urs, pir/mureed bid'aat. A shair I read in a book called "Sunnat aur bid'at ki kashmakash"(really a booklet) of Mahirul Qadiri, who was a diehard bralvi and considered the greatest milad khuwan of his time before he repented and took ideas that can fall somewhere between Deobandis who still believe in sufism and ahl-e-hadith, who don't:
haqiqat rawayaat may kho gayee
ya ummat kharafaat may kho gayee

I hope you don't mind what I wrote above. On to your post about suspending your blogging: I know it's not an easy thing to blog but I think gaining knowledge is a far better option until a person can despense knowledge without affecting his/her own learning of Islam. I saw the partial list of books you bought from Dar-us-salam. I've read a couple like Gems and Jewels, but I didn't read in English. Is this book al-lulu wal-marjaan? If so, I think the description is a bit off. The book is a collection of mutafiqqan aleayh ahadeeth (ahadeeth found both in saheeh al-bukhair and muslim), and nothing else. Secondly, I think the director of dar-us-salam is Abdul Malik Mujahid. Thirdly, you might know that there's a branch of dar-us-salam right behind the main Tariq Road shopping center [ph.#: 4393936]. So, if you need more books you can get it from there.

Another thing i want to add. Many hadeeth predict the re-arrival of Hazrat Issa (AS) near the end times. His arrival will also not negate the khatam-ul-nabieen status of The Prophet (PBUH). Makes sense with point number 2.

Walikum Salam Ibrahaim, glad to see you here.

Frankly speaking I myself was not aware 6 months ago tht I was barelvi unless I explictly asked my parents about it. You may laugh on it or considered me an ignorant but frankly speaking I never went for any secterian things within Islam. I remmber there was a time when I disliked the idea of Fiqhs etc and I didn't consider them good that why am I hanafi etc, specially after reading hadiths about 72 sects. Later when I read all 4 Imams then I found that there was no conflict between them and all fitna started by their followers. NOne of 4 imams, from Abu Hanifa[RA] to Imam Hanbal[RA] said one point that is Reject our verdict if its against Hadith and this is the core teaching by all of them.

I remember it was me who never liked Sufis and had a perception that most of sufis I see today are drug addicts. Later I read about Junaid Baghdadi[RA],Data Ganjg Bakhs[RA],Nizumuddin[RA] etc etc and found them the most beautiful people after my prophet[SAW] and His companions[RA].

I am not a born religiously aware person and I started taking seriously after 2003 Iraq war due to online chatting with several non-muslims americans. They used to ask me questions and I was like a dumb freak. Thanks to Mr.Bush, his war on terror made me to start reading Islam. Whatever I know a little bit is all due to my recent study about Islam. I had rather thought few months ago to start a seprate blog about my Understanding about Allah,Islam and religion etc which I couldn't share in my current blog which is not specific to religion only. Due to time constraints I have dropped the idea and most prolly if I ever start bloggin again then I would prefer to share my personal understanding about Islam rather picking general events happening around me.

Yes I used to sound deobandis but that's not intentional ,as I said I don't believe in factions within Islam. I rather prefer to follow the orignal islam so it doesn't matter me it is synch with Deobandis or someone else. I rather like to be name as a Muslim rather a deobandi or barelvi.

the very first opinion of you that I had was that you were ahl-e-hadith because you don’t believe in blind following, etc

IMO, people of Ahle-e-Hadith are more blind followers than anyone else. What I mean that In Quran Allah mentioned clearly to understand what you practise. Didn't Quran say so many times There are signs of Wisdom for those who can understand? The order itself is enough proof that Allah asks us to use our brain rather follow someone just because He/She is very respectable. Why didn't Allah just order to believe in HIM no matter what? Surah Rahman is the biggest example ALlah pursue us to SEE THE THINGS AROUND US and find HIM in them. I also believe in same logic, this is why You don't read me as a typical Barelvi follower.

No Bro Ibrahim I didn't mind at all and I do agree things you mentioned. Yes I know local darussalam branch but I discovered it very recently. Yes Mujahid Sahab is his main person. The Gems and Jewls is Laula WalMarjan.

Thanks for your reply and keep in touch.

@Aaloo: very valid point about the return of Hazrat Eesa[AS]. He's a Nabi but definately not the last Prophet[SAW]. Very very valid point. Pretty sad that Kokab sahab had no idea about it.

U know what? I belong to barelvi family but never followed lame stuff in barelvis.

There is no such thing like Kahtam Sharif etc. Can you give example of Hadith or any account in which Sahabas(RA) did what barelvis do in name of Islam?

as far as the page showed by Kaukab, if you cant even grasp the video then you must be willing to remain as ignorant.
