Dee, I don’t know the meaning of “Andleeb” and the reason I put it up due to the picture. Can someone tell me the menaing of Andleeb? All I know that it’s feminine name. I can translate in Roman Urdu though which could be understood by Indians as well. :-)

Andaleeb means Nightingale or someone who has got a voice as sweet as that of a nightingale (Source:http://www.geocities.com/urdudict/a/an.htm)

I tried but i am not unable to come up with Andleeb’s translation :), I remember Hazooron saal Nargis………….. and some other shers with the mention of Shama and Anjuman but no recollection of Andleeb :).LOL.So my best bet would be *either a flower or a Candle*.

Thanks ladies for helping me out to findout meaning of ‘Andleeb’ however I don’t like this name because this was the name of my Sindhi teacher who punished me twice in 7th grade by sending me out of the class. I am very disappointed after knowing the meaning of that word. Surely it didn’t match her personality anyway. :-)
