Dee, I don’t know the meaning of “Andleeb” and the reason I put it up due to the picture. Can someone tell me the menaing of Andleeb? All I know that it’s feminine name. I can translate in Roman Urdu though which could be understood by Indians as well.

I tried but i am not unable to come up with Andleeb’s translation :), I remember Hazooron saal Nargis………….. and some other shers with the mention of Shama and Anjuman but no recollection of Andleeb :).LOL.So my best bet would be *either a flower or a Candle*.

Ah got it, in Arabic, Andaleeb means Nightingale.Dont know about Persian but Andaleeb is also use in Persian.Confirm and then translate the caption

Thanks ladies for helping me out to findout meaning of ‘Andleeb’ however I don’t like this name because this was the name of my Sindhi teacher who punished me twice in 7th grade by sending me out of the class. I am very disappointed after knowing the meaning of that word. Surely it didn’t match her personality anyway.
