Thanks to Brother Mamur who left the link of the website here
and it was important to make a seperate entry because this site contains lots of stuff by Shaikh Alafasy beside his quranic recitation only. You can not only find high quality recitation of entire Holy Quran but audios of Duas/Azkars and Nasheeds etc are also available here. So do visit the website and listen Quran in his beautiful voice. As I said in my related post that one should have tried to listen him once because his voice is very different. Listening Surah Rahman in his voice gives an amazing experience about the words used by Allah to express His greatness.
This is the first time I have seen his picture and I didn’t know that he’s just ONE year elder than me,heehe :-). Anyways Allah bless him and I pray that other also follow him and utlize their skills for the relgion rather for other things.-Ameen

So finally we lost the 3rd test by 5 wickets as well as the series by 2-1. Credit goes to Kallis and Prince who played wonderful 5th wicket partnership eased the victory for Proteas. Apart from Pakistani defeat, I must say that entire series was interesting and Pakistanis did fight back.
When Woolmer was asked about the defeat, he plainly blamed to hectic schedule of Pakistani cricket team and he does say right when I saw tired Asif was being asked to continue his spell and that young kid did try his best and produced amazing econ rate that is 2.04, on other hand Danish Kaneria also did amazing spell @1.85 runs/Over. According to Cricinfo, Woolmer reacts:
“The current schedules are ridiculous,” he said. “You are already seeing players like Shaun Pollock and Makhaya Ntini who are exhausted and today Asif was an example. Fatigue leads to injuries. It’s a proven equation. If you have too much fatigue, your back goes or you twinge a hamstring or get a stress fracture.
“Cricket has to look at it. As a coach I have to manage these things. We’ve got Umar Gul, Shoaib Akhtar and Shabbir Ahmed sitting at home. Somewhere along the line the commercial aspects and the physical aspects of looking after players have to be revisited.”
Is he not true? What I personally think that we did make a mistake that we used only one genuine spinner in entire series and kept relying on our fast bowlers who ultimately got injured. Sami,Gul,Shoaib,Asif and Nazir; four fast bowlers in a squad doesn’t make sense specially when you don’t have any backup. We should have used another spinner like Rahman but we kept relying on Kaneria and tried to use him as a Trump Card. Kaneria did try his best but it was lame to expect too much from him. How could you expect some amazing results from Hafeez who is not a genuine spinner? Asim Kamal was once again sent back without sending him in the field though he could be used in place of Imran Farhat or Hafeez because he’s more solid test player than other two.
Let’s see how things go in ODI series. Guys like Afridi,Imran Nazir are being sent to South Africa. I hope they would justify their selection though PCB didn’t give any reason about their selection.

Pakistni President Musharraf who signed Women Protection Bill almost two months backed promised Pakistan women to give them equal rights like men and would empower them. According to mentioned news source :
He also mentioned the role of Muslim women during the “ghazwas” [battles] and said the government was committed to restore the dignity, honour and self- esteem of women, as accorded to them by Islam
AND Musharraf’s Goldren words:
Our Constitution accords equal rights, irrespective of caste, creed or sex, and we are here to put this in practice,” he added
And when I saw the above picture of women who were being beaten up by women police, I was forced to agree with the general’s words that Women of Pakistan have been empowered and they have been given equal rights like Pakistani men this is why they are being abused taken care by Pakistani police similar way on roads like they treat Pakistan men. Look at both pictures given above, do you find any difference? offcourse not so congrats that we have given equal rights to our women and now they can “enjoy” same “luxuries” like Pakistani men. Ignore what Mush said earlier, it was nothing but slip of toungue otherwise who else could have more pain for women than our Musharraf?
Many people like me who have grown up in Zia era would have to admit that they wouldn’t find any difference in the abusing of Pakistani citizens. What a weird fate has been associated with pakistan peoples party, first they were targetted by a “religious” dictator Zia who tortured their party members and NOW “secular” musharraf’s govt who is screwing them badly. Poor PPP, got sandwitched between two dictators. Remove the urdu caption and one wouldn’t be able to guess that whether this pic was taken last week of Jan-2007 or 20/22 years back during Zia era.
As I say that dictator will always be a dictator no matter whatever sweet name you associate with him, he will not quit his path neither he would learn lessons from previous dictators.
If you are wondering about the above pic of semi naked guy, I would ask you to visit Adil and Awab who mentioned in their respective blogs a month ago.

Mush is angry , at one side Nato attacks Pakistan while on other hand it’s said that Pakistan army is helping Taliban.
Yesterday I read something which no Pakistani can even imagine, Pakistan summoned American Ambassador and UK High Commissioner and said “Bus bhaye Bus” that is “It’s enough”, NATO guys started trembling due to fever and said Sorry . This was in newspapers but in reality? see below:

Edhi Sahib and His wife is not only a gift for Pakistan but also for humanity, whether it’s a human or an animal, Edhi sahib feels pain and always wiling to give relief to Allah’s creatures. If I say that Edhi is the practical Implementation of Islamic teaching about Humanity then it wouldn’t be wrong. This is why he might be the single Muslim personality who’s even respected by Israelis and didn’t stop him when he he entered in the region for humanitarian work.
Edhi foundation is running a campaign to nominate Mr.Edhi for Nobel Peace prize for year 2007. Yes I personally believe that he deserves for it. Adil Najam of Pakistanat is also running a seprate campaign to submit Edhi case to jury of Nobel Prize to consider Edhi for the award. Though such awards are very little for his great infact mighty efforts for humanity and only Allah can reward him with justice but I would agree with Ibrahim that today’s world finds that prize to be the best affirmation of someone’s greatness, so it’s right time to appreciate our hero and vote for him.
Look, we have been misuing our voting power for several decades and we always chosen wrong people by reacting on wrong time. Though we don’t have ability and habit to appreciate our heroes, it wouldn’t harm us if we quit the path of Ignorance and think once to appreciate this hero of our country by selecting the correct person. He did a lot for this world so world MUST recognize his efforts. Join your hands with Edhi foundation and Adil Najam and help him in this great cause.
