Eidul Adha Greetings:remembering Umrah days
I would like to greet my blog readers on the occasions of Eidul Adha and New year. Those who are performing Hajj are very lucky and deserve a special “Mobarakbaad”. I pray that every Muslim once get a chance to perform Hajj or atleast visit those places for Umrah prayers.
As many of you remember that I went to perform Umrah half and year back and I had taken pics of different places in both cities but never got chance to upload them or make some seprate post about pics but I think it’s the right time to share some of them on the occasion of Hajj which you could also watch LIVE on internet. I will not upload all pics rather share those pics which are not very common for majority of muslims specially the pics of Badar field which I got chance to see myself and experienced something very different. The city of Badar which was established after the battle comes on older route from Makkah to Medinah and since it’s very long and a bit dangerous too, pilgrims don’t prefer to choose this route for travelling. It’s also a lengthy route[550 Km approx] which is 100 KM more than new route. I would try my best to explain these pics as much as I can because I have forgotten the name of places and many of the pics I tool are still unnamed anyways enjoy the pics!!
The Glorious Masjidul Haram-Shahr-e-Hijrah View: I hope I remmeber the right name of the road. The was the route which Prophet[SAW] for migration[Hijrat] from Makkah to Medinah this is why this road is called Shahr-e-Hijrah.
The home where our Prophet[SAW] was born. This place is a library now and very near to Masjidul Haram. The whole makkah at the time of Muhammad[SAW] is the part of the great Mosque now.
Mount Abu Qubais: Where The prophet[SAW] performed the miracle of Moon Split.
The mighty Arafat/Mina and Masjid-e- Nimra

Badar Battle Plan-I & II: This is very informative and Intresting finding as It revealed the whole scnerio of that historical battle. One could find this map at the entrance of Badar Battle field area.

Jabal-Al-Malaika[Mount Angels]: This is the historical moutain from where Gabriel[AS] and Ezrael[AS]{ I hope I remember the correct name } along with thousands of angels descended into battle field to help the companions of the Prophet[sAw] after the pray done by our Prophet[saw] after seeing the enormous Quraish Army and Allah answered which has been saved in Quran forever.
Remember ye implored the assistance of your Lord, and He answered you: “I will assist you with a thousand of the angels, ranks on ranks.Allah made it but a message of hope, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah: and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. (Quran 8:9-10)

Heroes of Badar: The companions of Prophet[SAW] who lost their lives and earned the status of Shaheed

Nehar-e-Zubaida[Canal of Zubaida]: I got chance to watch the one of the greatest civil engineering demo which I think is very amazing task after the pyramids of Egypt. The canal was constructed by Zubaida, the wife of Caliph Haroon Rashid to serve the pilgirms. You can read further about this well here . The wall you are seeing below is actually the wall of the channel which was used to provide water to Makkah from Valley of Hunain.
Ohad Valley: The famous mountain where Prophet[SAW] installed His archers who then had left their positions after the initial victory of muslims and defeat of infidels. Khalid Bin Waleed[RA] who was will non-muslim at that time emerged from the back of same mountain and attacked on the remaining archers.
Bair-e-Usman[Well of Usman]: One of the well owned by 2nd Caliph Hazrat Usman[RA]. The green thing which I have pointed out with the help of arrow is the actual well which has been closed due to security reasons.
Masjid Qiblatain: The masjid where Prophet[SAW] recieved the order of Allah to change the Qibla from Baitul Muqaddas to Ka’ba. One can still the sign of old Qibla on ceil of the main room. The guy behind us the Ashraf who was our guide and driver in medinah and he was very helpful person as he guided us to the dates factory where theya re processed and distrubuted to entire country. Offcourse we get dates at wholesale rates and saved atleast 30 Riyals.
The beautiful Masjid-e-Jumma: The first masjid where the Propehet[SAW] held Jumma[Friday] prayers.
I hope it would help you to learn something about sacred places for muslims and motivate you to visit the places which we have read in books only.
As I mentioned above that I have forgotten most of the places and there is possibility that I have mentioned some wrong name of road or place. If you find any error then don’t hesitate to correct me. I got chances many other places as well like the home of Khadijah[RA] where Fatima[RA] was born. The masjid near city of badar where prophet stayed and made the battle plan and gave lecture to companions. Cave of Hira and Sor. I do have many pics but since theya re not clear enough or no taken properly or say I forgot the names of places, i didn’t upload them for sharing. if I ever recall the names then I would sure upload them Inshallah.
Enjoy the eid and do remember poor people in your happy moments and do pray that my Dad’s fractured hand gets recovered soon-Ameen. God bless Ummah and God bless Pakistan.
