These two articles published in today’s Jang which were written by Mr.Hamid Mir and Dr.Safdar Mahmood. Both actually tried to deliver same message but in their respective style that is; politicians and likewise tried to use Mr.Jinnah for their own purpose. I couldn’t deliver same message better than these guys but yes these articles reminded me an old cartoon which published 7/8 months back in a newspaper and I had recieved via email.

This picture says everything. We Pakistanis has forgot the orignal image of Jinnah so His message. Fifty nine years is not a short period to forget our founding father. I don’t have any thing to say, I would just quote the words of Anwar Maqsood’s play “Iqbal,Jinnah aur Muhammad Ali Johar ki Wapsi” in which Muhammad Qavi who was playing role of Jinnah said something very beautiful and touchy, “Pakistan Surah Rahman ki Tarah hay”[Pakistan is like Surah Rahman]. What he actually means that Pakistan has EVERY thing, rivers,ocean,plains,hills,talent etc etc. Surah Rahman also discusses the blessings of Allah.

*sigh*

I don’t know where is my Quaid, all I know that I was not told about him by our elders. They are still fighting to find out what actually Jinnah wanted. I don’t know who would tell me about him, I don’t know at all. If you find my Quaid then do let me know. I badly need him.
