Education Minister’s 40 Siparay

Electronic version

Too much ignorance is not bliss

I believe Education Minister needs someone to educate himself first. Please remember that same Fedral Minister is involved in making new Pakistani Schools and colleges syllabus

For those who don’t know what siparay means, Sipray is used in urdu language for “part” or “section”.

May Allah keeps us safe from such ignorant morons-Ameen

first of all ,how the hell one ex isi general become federal minister of education..our dictator think no one in 14 crore ppl capable or educate enuf to become federal minister of education..this is fundamental breach of rule of law in any country which is consistently violated by our pak Army

well, sorry but I’m really tired of this tale now (I followed on with soem 15+ mails on my uni grp then I gave up … ) it culd be a slip of tongue … it happens when you have something else in mind and when you talk somehow wrong figures you give away … creating issues and real big issues is worthless out of these flicks … !

Why do we tend to feel as if we alone are the muslims and all others are “morons” … it can be an honest mistake done …. Allah’s tawaburraheem … !

Asma, ignorance is not an excuse. I think you didn’t bother to read the whole thing. The host asked not one,two but THRICE that whether he meant by 40 Siparas. It’s not slip of toungue. You gotta check the dictionary.

I am not surprised. Whem Mush can talk nonsense in name of Islam and he can ban Namaz in Shah faisal masjid for blair then this thing is very very small.

creating issues and real big issues is worthless out of these flicks

He is a Goddamn EDUCATION minister who is also inVOLVED in prepration of Islamiat syllabus which according to him DOESNOT need any quranic verse anymore. Kindly do make read of news resources before you favor someone.

  4. Asma Says:

Well, you may be right … but still I’m justifying this point coz I dont agree that a man who is a muslim (the point is not how good or how bad or average - that would be decided by Allah Almighty not US (us as in hum not usa)) and has been the general and is the minister doesn’t know how many siparay are present in Quran. It must have been an unconscious mistake - I still say … unconscious mistake was something I wanted to say actually … not slip of tongue …!

As per islamic text is consider … well I believe atleast 30 last surah’s should be compulsorily added in for hifz and it should be mandatory … the NOW kids are in such bad shape when it comes to hifz … most of the children hardly know 4-5 surah’s by heart and parents don’t really care too … in the name of MODERNITY!

  5. Adnan Siddiqi Says:

Well how sure you are that He’s a muslim? Don’t get me wrong but Pakistan doesnt mean 100% muslims, neither name could reveal someone’s belief. Its not about being muslim. Its about how much one knows about a topic-Specially he should have done homework when he knew that he would be asked for syllabus. I am not a christian but do know basics of their belief. It doesnt need to be a follower of something.

I think you expect too much from our politicians or army men, don’t you?:)

and has been the general and is the minister doesn’t know how many siparay are present in Quran.

we had a education minister in past who was not even matric pass then how come this thing is so unusual for you.

Hifz is too much, the new Islamiat will not have any surah reference anymore. Its a lame step in Internet era. If they think they could stop kids to know about ghazwat etc then they are fools. They are too late now. Now kids of 4/5 years know much about current affairs than average adult man of old age.

“”Well how sure you are that He’s a muslim? “”

Are you really that naive or just acting like one??? do u think our dearest “ullema e karam” won’t have started another grand riot IF the education minister would have been christian and he’d have intervened in Islamiyaat course line????

Walls of pakistan would have been filled up with fatwas of his qatal … Indeed …!

Ok now the discussion has totally gone off-track too … sorry for that and firt line is naively written with no mischief intended :P

  7. Adnan Siddiqi Says:

asma you dont have to be a christian to be a non-muslim.

What do I say , your perception about Ulema[MMA people are not ULEMA] is that he just ready to give fatwa, prolly u are talking on base of recent hudood ordinance. If yes then I myself agree that new bill has few things which are not according to Islma but same govt people are trying to potrait it as Islamic. as I said ,ignorance is not an excuse for anything.

I think its naivness on your side tht you think tht every muslim name person in our govt is a muslim. Beig a muslim doesnt mean having a muslim name or just accepting what that religion says, being a muslim means to obey what God has ordered without injecting personal interpetition.

Like majority, i think you are also victim of Mullah fobia;associating every evil with mullah. I get disappointed when our educated youth make such comments. *sigh*. Take care.

I really don’t understand why ignorance of someone is being asserted as naiveness.

p,s: are you same asma?asma karim from ISB?

  8. asma Says:

    koi shak :P

OK now I’ll answer this en detail laters …!

this is so shocking. religion is made a pretext for creating & forcing man-made scriptures. education is a sacred affair for the making or brutally breaking a given nation’s generations’ future.
when will people in Pakistan understand that education is a different field than men-ghereth ideas of ad-hoc aimless, controlling policies?
