Nirala Sweets Controversy-Media Politics?
I must confess that we are living in the era where media propaganda is accepted more than a religion. The same media can make masses to believe that there was WMD in
My 2nd last post was about Nirala Sweets and as I said everyone who contacted me via SMS and forwarded me the message about the accident blamed to the son Nirala owners and asked to boycott the sweets[which I don’t support at all] but nobody cared to find out the reality and whether the things are really true or not. I am one of those who stopped trusting in media after its negative use in
I’ve been a supporter of the freedom for press, but this is forcing me to change my mind. This particular news item is just plain sensationalism. What makes this worse is that it was a tragedy that can make the stoutest of hearts weep & here we are with 2 giant companies out to gain mileage out of it. A 2 month old baby lost its life & The News & Mobilink are taking sides in a fight that doesn’t really matter! Because they feel that they can give their bland & inhuman organizations a human face by taken the side of “the little guy”. This is worse than a tragedy. There is no undoing the past.
The events have been grossly misreported & exagerated. The way it really happened was that the driver of the Honda City took blind u-turn in the middle of the road, into the path of the oncoming Boxter driven by Faisal Farooq. There was no race. I know Faisal to be a particularly cautious driver & he rarely exceeds the 100 km/h while driving. If there was an accident, something must’ve popped up real fast in his way for him to react; i.e. the blind u-turn taken by the driver of the Honda City.
Faisal did not flee the crime scene either. He waited till the ambulance came. He made sure the victims of the accident got to the hospital, & after the authorities allowed him to leave, he left for home, only to come back with his frail old father in the morning to ask if he could to do anything to help. Instead, he was threatened with dire consequences. There was no beating up at the
What happened that night is, without doubt, a tragedy. It is beyond words to describe the loss the two, now, have to brave. But, lets pray for them rather than speculate on what happened & come to our own conclusions based on nothing but conjecture of those who weren’t even there that night.
May HE also bless the soul of the poor child that presihed that night. & may HE grant courage & patience to the berieved couple who had to loose their only child. May HE lift the veil from our eyes & let justice be done in this world for our patience is as limited as our wisdom & understanding, unlike HIS; infinite & unfathomable.
May Allah keep our hearts pure & not force us to judge out of ignorance, for HE is the True Seer of all that happens under the sun & the stars.
Ameen!
Thanks Iqbal Sahib to bring an alternative and valid perspective.
Update: Just got a site about that situation and it explains further. Visit aslibaatt
I recieve some lunatic messages by readers who named me whatever they wished. Someone went to such extreeme that he got ready to kill me and another suggested to put me on jail and while another MUSLIM PAKISTANI fellow siad that people like me supported freedom to publish cartoons while my reaction was clearly mention here , here and here. Sorry as I mentioned earlier that I don’t prefer to react like an emotional fool like we reacted about cartooon issue which was globally and now this Nirala issue. I wish we could demonstrate similar emotions for the betterment of Ummah or Pakistan but we will not because we’re hypocrite morons. At one side we whine for an accident JUST because it happened with a RICH kid while we don’t say a word when our women raped by Feudals and they re forced to walk naked on roads as punishments. I think we should curse ourselves first before we think to condemn others.

I dont buy the bullshit that you just posted or reposted on behalf of a person defending a criminal, if not a murderer.
Tell, by looking at the pictures in the following link:
http://www.pakwheels.com/forumreply_az_TopicID!33655~ForumID!15~pw.html
that what kind of a blind u-turn was it, man?
100 kmph? That is twice the
speed what is allowed especially on Lahori streets. The driver was a woman not a man.
Stop defending people with word of mouth, if anyone is their relative, they will obviously defend them no matter what. We dont live in a morally or ethically mature society so there is nothing hindering me in making that assumption which is true all of the times.
Have a good.
p.s. Dont jut post shit on you nlog to make no-sense out of nothing. How the fuck can you call Mobilink a media company… ufff!

Hmm. One wonders if even The News would stoop as low as to completely fabricate such a serious allegation. I personally find it amazing that nothing factual has emerged yet, and that the competing papers haven’t had the interest to get some real quotes from the police, or even Mr. Malik.
Let’s be clear on one thing, though: regardless of why he swerved or what he was doing, this accident is Mr. Farooq’s fault. The rules of the road are clearly defined, and they don’t look favourably upon could’ve-would’ve-should’ve arguments.
May Allah help the Maliks through this tough time, and may justice be served.

Phil I am surprised by reading you. What was the reason that you came out as a “Potty mouth person”? Tsk tsk.
dont buy the bullshit that you just posted
Don’t buy, who cares? I don’t write for individuals. You’re free to reject and move on.
by looking at the pictures in the following
Not impressed. I am from Karachi where I see several severe and worst accidents on roads and 99% of them were not racing at all.
Stop defending people with word of mouth, if anyone is their relative, they will obviously defend them no matter wh..
Problem with me that I don’t prefer to believe on one sided story neither I prefer to declare myself a a person who belives in just every moronic news emerge from Media. Neither My site belongs to some left/rigt wing that I allow to my favorite group only but not to oponents. When I can publish about accident then why not about the story of otherside?
It doesn’t matter me who is guilty and who’s not. ONly Allah knows the best. Unlike others who got excited and got fooled emotionally after reading news, I rather prefered to hear alternative perspectives and avoided promoting a ban. There is no issue of defending anyone. The main point which was raised which you certainly missed due to emotions was “MEDIA GAME” and It’s not new at all, atleast for me. My site is free for anyone, even i disliked your tone, i didn’t reject your comment because I prefer that other listen rather I hide someone else’s features.
@Uzair: There was a time when Jang group papers used to be considered “HOLY” but not anymore after the death of founder Khalil ur Rahman. Specially when I personally experineced one of lunatic editor of The NEWS, I don’t consider The News and The Jang credible and authentic papers.
December 5th, 2006 at 8:02 am
LOL, as Uzair said, the fault is Mr. Farooqs and the rules of the book state it clear. Hope you were aware of them before posting the ‘alternative prespective’!?
Saying The News or anyother newspaper is sensationalizing this justifies the culprit’s plea to innocence is the lousiest arguement ever.
Good day.
December 5th, 2006 at 10:50 am
Phil: you’re being an emotional soul like those who comes out on road and burn things. I feel sorry for you. Don’t curse me for your own mental limitations. I think this is my space and I am free to say and publish whatever I want. Why are you being extreemist enough that you’re dictating me?
It doesn’t matter what Uzair or someone else said, I am not an emotional fool that I blindly believe in whatever is said in Media. “The NEws” isn’t holy, their recent stunt in Hudood Ordinance is a solid proof that how The Jang group media was used to spread a lie to finish a law. If you’re not able to comprehend then it’s not my fault. I have dealt with enuff media crap hence I don’t buy everything which sounds “Emotional” to me. I am all neutral in this matter but it doesn’t mean I have no pain for the loss of life. If your thinking doesn’t go beyond the nutshell then you should actually curse yourself rather me or you alays have your own webspace to express your views. Everyone is free to say things, don’t opress someone just because you don’t agree with him.
December 5th, 2006 at 11:05 am
and yes please don’t expect me to respond further. I have clarify the reason to post it which is using media to spread something and I do know this is a valid reason. The fact is known by Allah only and there is no need that one tries to be a god and give his verdict. You’re free to post as much as you want, maybe someone else reply you.
December 7th, 2006 at 9:58 pm
bullshit to ur post as I just emailed the news journalist and he sent me all the verification for all his words. People like you should be jailed before bastards like Faisal Farooq.
For ur very illogical post and comments I would just ask you to ask ur ownself very simple logical questions …
Well,
1. I would trust a news post more than a random BLOG.
2. No doubt rich people’s kids, 9 out of 10 r assholes, and it really asks me to go for the News post.
3. I don’t see any reason why a humble cautious driver would drive a Porsche like car in the wee hours.
4. I cannot grasp the speed at which anybody is helpless to avoid an accident to be around 30-40 MPH
5. I really won’t go for a person driving with his mother, wife and baby to be driving fast or furious.
6. Above all for someone losing their baby I dont see any damn fuckin reason why would they make a gossip out of it but I do see million reasons that a post like yours can float internet for a mere thousands …
December 7th, 2006 at 10:48 pm
Either you sit in front of ur computer and know no shit abt the place u live in or u just try to show off ur neutral instincts and in doing that become hurdle in something that is crystal clear … i work at mobilink and i know everything in person and God knows I can kill u if I come across u for whatever u posted …
December 8th, 2006 at 10:15 am
@Shoaib: LOL! so you are trying to say that mobilink is a company of saints? Go away moron, every one knows about that how you moron steal the credit of users and do wrong billing. Every week you guys are warned by PTA and i was just reading that you guys have been warned again so buzz off and preach where sun doesn’t shine.
People like you should be jailed before bastards like Faisal Farooq.
@Ahsan: tsk tsk, I think you live in UK? right?. When I see educated extreemist like you who don’t like to give freedom to others to speak anything regardless it’s wrong or right, I am forced to believe that Pakistanis are far from civilization. Yes Pakistanis coz Pakistanis can’t grasp anything even in living in the civilized world. You’re true example of it. Then I laugh that same people curse to mullah for their illetracy. My friend learn how to listen oponents. Don’t curse them if they re not in synch with your opinion. I posted that guy answer not because I was agreeing with him that “Accident was NOT cruel”. I was agreed in principal that MEDIA is used for baised propaganda. I think you re one of those who are unable to think out of the box and don’t read media much. I literally read many news sources and I[world] have seen how media was used to invade two countries but I think these things are too french for you. Like if I ask a grade I student to go thru calculus, he would certainly start crying.
I would trust a news post more than a random BLOG
I wouldn’t trust a news post JUST because it was broken by some well-known news source. BBC is popular news source but not credible.
No doubt rich people’s kids, 9 out of 10 r assholes, and it really asks me to go for the News post.
How can you claim that? did you conduct any survey? is ti a gallop report? why do I have to agre with your absurd and moronic statment that 9 out of 10 are assholes? I think yoiu don’t have a good background and you’re showing your frustration here.
for points 3-6, I ask you to show where was I favoring that person? calm down yourself.
December 8th, 2006 at 9:43 pm
I won’t argue with you any further because people like you never bother to THINK, they take it for granted that they are perfect. By the way when I say 9 out of 10 I mentioned my personal experience, yes that makes it a survey. Those who comment on other’s backgrounds just show their level of thinking and morality and you just did that. I won’t comment on it either any further. If Mobilink gets a warning from PTC every day that doesnot give you and your friends the License to Kill I hope you learn that at some point in your life. To end my discussion with you I would just say you are atleast true when you say
“Welcome to Adnan`s Crazy Blogging World”
May God bless you with the courage and brain to differentiate.
Bye

On a very different note there is nothing like freedom of speech and when you say
“When I see educated extreemist like you who don’t like to give freedom to others to speak anything regardless it’s wrong or right”
I put you in the same row as people posting Prophet PBUH’s cartoons claiming its freedom of speech regardless of right or wrong. And as all of them you are also the mistaken and misled one.
Hope you do good to your own life and humanity one day by deciding right and wrong and then standing up for the RIGHT rather than advocating bull shit *freedom of speech + regardless right or wrong*
December 8th, 2006 at 9:52 pm
Comments on your blog from one of my colleagues who won’t bother to even argue with you. Posting it if it helps you at all to realize what role you play in all the scenerio and just to give you a hint that its not the case where the whole world is wrong but ur right. And its certainly not the case of BLOGGING SOMETHING keeping the basis as REGARDLESS RIGHT OR WRONG
———————————-
Some quotes from the blog!
“The same media can make masses to believe that there was WMD in Iraq hence it should be invaded.”
No link to the story .. also, thanks to the same media that the Americans now voted the Republicans out!
“Recently same media propaganda was used by Musharraf regime to declare old Hudood law a ‘brutal law’ against women by spreading that ‘it asks for 4 witnesses by a raped woman anyway otherwise it prisons the raped women’”
Thanks media .. without you, countless women would have been jailed despite no fault of their own!
“There was no race. I know Faisal to be a particularly cautious driver & he rarely exceeds the 100 km/h while driving”
100km/h .. As far as I know, there is not a single road (barring motorway) in Islamabad-Lahore where driving at 100k is allowed or safe ..
“There was no race.”
The blogger has supernatural powers that provide him the ability to know what happened and what did not, without quoting a reference!
May Allah keep our hearts pure & not force us to judge out of ignorance, for HE is the True Seer of all that happens under the sun & the stars.
I agree, but dear blogger, keep your religious sentiments aside as they add an unwanted touch of sentimentalism!
My conclusions:
1) The fault was of the porche driver and this report should be spread as much as it can be
2) Anyone who uses religious sentiments and not facts and references is bogus, keep away from him/her!
WAKE UP is my suggestion to you …
December 9th, 2006 at 11:37 am
Ahsan, thanks again for proving my point that our educated people are more extreemist and illetrate then genuine people. You equated me with the danish cartoon controversy. That’s all you could do. Don’t curse me if your thinking capability doesn’t permit you to go beyond nutshell boundaries. Offcourse you re supporter of those who burnt buildings in Karachi in the name of Prophet[SAW]. Better you go thru my blog archieve about my point of view about Cartoon issue then bother yourself to say anything.
Back to the point. As I said tht I am not like majority of people who blindly believe in media news. If you had BOTHERED yourself to read the post. I was actually NOT BELIEVING in THEORY of GUY THREATENED the family. I don’t believe in such bullshit but you guys are blind followers like jahil always believe in it. Where did I say that “Yayy baby died, cool!” did I give any such impression? Don’t curse me for your own extreemist instincts. I don’t like to become a prionser of media bullshit. Noone even that guy or me was saying that BABY WAS NOT DIED but he and me too were agreeing that media actually used the accident to spread crap that the guy ran away or he threathened. Why you educated people have no tendency to listen other point of view? why you guys even living in UK or US are still act like a villager who never got any education. I think you didn’t understand the reason of the post and all of you got heated and excited just because someone was not accepting the crap that he ran away or threatened. U might be unaware of media crap but i am not. Sorry, your baseless rants can’t make any difference.
as far as whether I can differentiate between Good or Bad, Allah has blessed me a lot and same blog is liked by many people due to its content[why do they like ask them]. So better you go thru blog to understand me rather making absurd and shallow statments to put weight in your comments. Better cure your mentality and pray God to give you enough courage to hear things and comprehend it rther blaming others.
Thankyou

My purpose of arguing with you is acheived. Its not MY VIEWS but your OWN WORDS that put you adjacent to Danish Cartoonist. Keep writing SUPERFICIAL blogs REGARDLESS OF RIGHT OR WRONG and there will always be somebody who will treat you right as even here more than one people did that. As you wrote about the incident with your superficial powers of speed and alcohal measurment you just superficially saw me in the burning building crowd lol wow you are just amazing by the way yes I was in the crowd who boycotted every industry and government supporting the cartoonist and no doubt I am again againt Faisal Farooq. For you keep up your reagrdless right or wrong bits
I have no worries that you will come across many people who will slap the truth right into your face and you will keep on pointlessly and illogically and withing roaming in the air facts keep on justifying the shit you write. Lets wait and see who is wrong at the end of the day.
December 11th, 2006 at 3:48 pm
By the way, where are your supporters ?? getting drunk with faisal farooq?? racing at *NOT MORE THAN 100 KMPH*?? while ur paid to save their ass off in the blogging world …
the mighty literate, freedom of speech supporter (regardless right or wrong) with superficial facts gathering powers …
chill, don’t fight with me … taunting with stupid illogical conclusions is not the answer to what you wrote and why you wrote … think about it IF YOU CAN …
December 11th, 2006 at 4:17 pm
your other assumption that i write superfitial blog figures your mentality for some one else who disagree with you. Awesome my friend
December 11th, 2006 at 4:17 pm
how old are you ahsan and what was your “goal” which you achieved on my blog? if your goal was to use crappy language to ignore the other side then you’re wrong.
how could you say he was drunk? were you his partner in crime?
anyway I don’t think I need to continue with you, however you’re free to post and someone might reply you
