Get ready for another Cricket controversy
I already made two posts about cricket and religion issue here and here and I thought that things would be getting better after reciving strong reactio by Inzy and others but it seems that our liberal PCB chairman is comitted to something other than promoting cricket and administering concerned tasks.
Ok, I don’t mind playing songs or milli songs when hitting 4s and 6s by our players and it has been happening for many years but I didn’t understand the purpose of *entertaining* players by playing music. Did they request for it? It’s a also mentioned that songs were being played for spectators during lunch and tea break. The exact location has not been mentioned but I guess that it was being player near dressing rooms or something that players got disturbed during prayers. Keep in mind that this is a winter season in Pakistan and usually tea and lunch break is declared at the time of ASAR and Zohar prayers respectively. Even If players wouldn’t have protested, I guess we were taught to be silent at azaan time and listen and repeat it? Didn’t someone teach manners to event manager to show some respect to a religion. Ok,If he’s some liberal moron and preach secularism but does that mean that he stop giving respect to other religions? I don’t understand what kinda training such people get at their homes and institutes. Secularists who always chant about “FREEDOM OF RELIGION” are proving themselves another extreemist cabal after religious extreemist cabal in Pakistan and keep trying to impose their views on masses by different means.

On the other hand, awam has given a mixed response about same issue. I hope players don’t get disturbed by such lame attempts and they ignore such things and keep focusing on game.

personally I really dont care if they pray five times or not as long as they win the bloddy match.
praying is between a person and Allah and one should keep it like that.

Correct, now don’t you think you are poking your nose by Imposing your statment what they should do or what not. I believe they re free to pray whereever they want and Allah doesnt reside in Masjids and Saudia Only. He’s everywhere.
Similarly entertaining modes are also personal for invidiuals. Now if someone play some bloody rap music near my house then it shouldnt be believed that I would like it anyway , for me that would be an unpleasent act and that person should keep the music WITHIN his home boundary

dude i am not imposing anything. I dont care what they do in their personal lives as long as they do what they are paid to do.
But if they make their personal lives public then i think the public has a right to comment on it.
