Orkut with GTalk-I don’t need this!
No this is something which I will never appreciate. Ok I know many orkut residents would be very happy as they would have facility to tease their *loved ones* but I am certainly one of them who don’t like to add /allow just anyone for IMing during office time or even at home that’s why I have enabled the option of asking permission on both Yahoo and MSN. I can’t log into Orkut due to some bad Internet connection, if they have provided facility to disable this Gtalk option then all good otherwise I would not hesitate to remove my Orkut account.
Update: Ok, I did express my feelings as an end-user But I didn’t share that I want Orkut/Google guys to provide APIs to interact Orkut with other Google systems like Blogger etc. It would be nice if they guys provide such GData API has been provided for Blogger,Calender etc. It would be cool.

Well honestly that sure do looks irritating … and I oo hope that disabling feature is there … it’d be a complete privacy breach … …!

1)
this feature needs to be activated
its not pre-activated
2)it can be deactivated even after activation
3)ur orkut ignore list will move to gtalk blocked list
4)if u r not logged on to gtalk but logged on orkut no probs
5)if u r logged to gtalk but not orkut PROBLEM
evn then ur im-status will be on orkut friends u choose to interact wid
