Former Pakistani President Mr. Ghulam Ishaq Khan (GIK) passed away at age of 91. He was suffering from Pneumonia. Ishaq took charge of office after the accidental death of Gen. Zia, Chief Marshal Law administrator. You can read further about Khan on this website.

Former young Pakistani Hockey goalkeeper Muhammad Qasim who had been suffering from cancer for long time and several people along with Pakistani cricket team tried to help him financially also passed away on 2nd day of the Eid.
