kashif thanks for liking. I do visit your website and it contains quality and sensible content.

I write for myself and in very poor manner thus I don't consider my writings eligible for some others website. In past I refused Adil Najam for the same reason. Thanks for your kind offer and tell me that are you IN karachi or living abroad?

Adnan
that was a good post
However, my question is that why can't men share the house-work and undo this culture - well at least in Ramzan..

Ah, the poor me, I used to prepare Sehri and Iftari in Ramadan, and then also it was my onus to manage TPS, and what all you guys did? Just read it.

Btw, Adnan, Kashif's offer is fantastic. In my humble opinion, Chowrangi.com is one of the top blogs right now in Pakistan. May be the top most.

It's a great post. Although there are families where the efforts of women are appreciated, but by and large they do remain the unsung heroines

Appreciation for women is a good thing, which I by being a woman my self appreciate as well, but facts do need to be recognised as facts all the same. I can relate to what Dr. Awab said in his shoe-post, my family and I hate shopping together for those very reasons (in fact I pretty much hate shopping altogether for that very reason). Women DO fuss a lot in shopping. That's not a generalization or stereotype, occasionally, even I'll do it. Its just something in our genes. That is not to say men wouldn't do it (but) they'll do it occasionally, and even then the magnitude of the fuss will be far less.

Having said that, of course I agree with Adnan in his central idea that woman as a large remain under appreciated. The every day hard yards we do are often taken for granted. For that reason alone, it was nice to read this post.
