Eid Holidays!!
Ok I know that I have been making too much serious posts after coming back from Umrah. Though there is no relation of that trip with my bogging. I always love to discuss religion to learn new things from others and try my best to share my experience with other people which could be helpful for them. But now I would like to change the mood of my blog a bit by bringing some soft tones in my posts.
Eid holidays for 4 days! Halaat Deee! But why am I getting so excided? I don’t even go out on Chand Raat neither I visit too many people in first 3 days so what’s the reason of such excitement? Umm don’t call me cynical if I say that I am happy because I can utilize these four days to work on some pending software projects? I know you guys can NEVER EVER understand the feelings of IT people and consider us Deewana like any Poet or like Qais[The Majnoon Guy] but Kia kroun? I am like that.
Today I am up and using PC/Internet after Sheri after a long time. *sigh* I remember the days when we were in school and college and used to play cricket on streets of Nazimabad No.1 after Fajr Namaz. Playing cricket after Sehri was fun. You can’t enjoy similar moments when play cricket in evenings. 15-20 guys playing cricket and screaming “Out!!”, “Catch Pakar”, “Run run run!!” you always miss these days when you grow up and come in practical life. I remember my friend Naveed used to call NO BALL as “NOPE BALL”, hahahhha. *sigh* Sometimes it feels k Abhi Kal ke hee baat hay.
Then I joined University and started using Internet back in 1996 and got addicted to IRC and used to be part of #chatzone and Undernet #Pakistan Network at that time. Those were days of Khuwari, chatting for long hours with others [no I didn’t have any private female chat friend at that time, used to be active on main channel window, ask Halai]. My Ammi used to get angry at me and used to force me to leave the PC and do something else. Now those days are over and there is no such charm anymore. Maybe I am not too young for all such things? *grin*.
Anyways, so there are no such outing plans on Eid, yes I have to go to relatives and would go to meet my Khaloo who recently suffered from Dengue Virus and Mashallah He’s fine now. Pakistan is also going to play some round match during Eid days so It would be fun to waste time.
I remember that I was not used to go out and buy stuff on eid in my childhood, I don’t know why but I never like the idea. I don’t exactly remember what I used to do at that time, all I remember that I had lots of Umro Ayyar’s story books which I used to study at that time.
So what are you plans? I would like to ask from abnormal community [The techies] first who do spend to do weird thing in such holidays. Learning some new language? Debugging some pending code? Or you are all up to read new RFCs and millions of RSS feeds in your aggregator? Just let me know! *smirk*.
