Apple’s Mecca Project-How muslims should react?
Cartoons, Movie and now Apple’e Mecca Project which is Apple’s new store.
The news was first broken by Mimri which is run by an Israelites . From the news
The fact that the building resembles the Ka’ba (see picture below), is called “Apple Mecca,” is intended to be open 24 hours a day like the Ka’ba, and moreover, contains bars selling alcoholic beverages, constitutes a blatant insult to Islam.
However I think muslims will react again and they should but not by prtotesting and burning properties. I would appearl all muslims whether they protest out of home or not that they offer 2 rakat Nafil Shukrara (Prayers of thanks) that they follow a religion which has made non-muslims so insane that they are trying their best to comeup with issues which actually ‘torture’ muslim Ummah. They are more scared of spreading of Islam after 9/11.
If you ask me, I will say , ‘Good for Us’. The reason because such shocks are forcing muslims to getback to religion because they have no other choice. Incidents like 9/11, Iraq War forced an Ignorant so called muslim like me to study Quran and other islamic and other religion sources
Offcourse I am not talking about seculars who label themselves as ‘Muslims’. That community is in confused state of mind and they dont able to understand whether they follow Western rules or Islamic rules.
Look guys we shouldn’t react like idiots. More you react without brain , more they will tease you. Think about positive side of such shocks. We are ruled by rulers who are slaves of USA and other western regimes therefore they is no chance they could be trusted or could be helpful for muslims. They are rather more busy to follow western theories to alter syllabus, removing Jihad verses, removing religous spirits from Cricket team. Someone tell those idiots that If such tactics could be useful and effective then Islam could have vanished several thousand years back. What actually is hapenning that more muslims and offcourse non-muslims taking intrest in Islam. Do you remember Newton’s 3rd Law? To every reacton there is always equal and opposite reaction. Neocons and other guys trying their best to remove Islam from world and it’s spreading more. Its in human nature that if you strict them for something, he would go more for it.
Today there are two main sources for spreading Islam. One is preaching parties[ Tableeghi Jamats] and others are our non-muslim friends. Both are being helpful for us to spread
word of God
There is another article by David about why Islam can’t be defeated, offcourse he is advising to their own guys to handle situation with brains but still he’s not too much baised in that article
So don’t worry just keep studying Islamic sources and keep offering Salat and other prayers. That’s the best for you. Do remember non-mulsims know much about power of Islam than us. Try to understand that power and then you will realize that you were not on a losing side.

Really? That photograph is of the building under construction. The plastic sheets and scaffolding has been removed, so all that remains now is the transparent glass cube of the building itself. Is that the Kabaa you see? It’s not like Westerners visit Mecca, is it? How are we supposed to know what the Kaaba looks like? Besides, imitation is a form of flattery, is it not?

I agree with Solomon - this image is off the pre-construction days. The actual store is an amazing looking transparent glass cube.
Memri.org is just blowing this issue out of proportions.

solomon you missed the whiole point. The reason to made post to say anything agianst that blind fanatasism in the name of Islam.
Memri projected it as a “kaaba’ project so first of all you should condmen such wickedness. since Memri was full aware of how muslims react,they claled it a Ka’ba project.
It was intended to offend muslims or not, muslims these days feel so vulnerable tht they just react without using brain therefore i have REQUESTED all such muslims who just react, YES they just react and dont see their own evilness.

First of all Memri didnt even provide the link of any such website, you think that that israeli source did a mistake for not adding a link of orignal source? I really don’t consider such news credible where orignal source is not referrd. It was memri who presented that project an Anti-Islam project. I searched the keywords so many times on Google and every website referred Memri.
I don’t think u need to make efforts to potray your entire community as Saints? why dont you have courage to condemn that news by an Israeli source?

Why should a source be concerned just because it may be Israeli? Given the record of reporting vs. reality, I would think everybody should consider Israeli reporting to be far more accurate than those of its neighbors or many western news organizations like the BBC. Sainthood isn’t an issue. Anyway, MEMRI is based here in Washington, D.C., not Israel.
As for the link issue, I wondered the same thing myself. A measure of MEMRI’s credibility is that usually no one disputes the accuracy of its translations, so maybe they figured they didn’t need to link to such things anymore. I’m sending them an e-mail to ask for the source, and of course nothing stops you from doing the same.

That’s the only source which promoted the projected as Kaba project to provoke muslims around the world. That danish newspaper cartoon editor was also an Israelite. You might not grasp it but I do understand all conspiracies against muslims led by jews and then it makes me belief that God did right to warn us about jewish conspiracies long time back.

You perceive conspiracies? From what Jews, exactly? Do you fear “Jews” so much that any hint or imagining of a “Jewish conspiracy” strikes fear and terror in your heart, to the extent that you fear that you must strike or retreat out of a desire for self-preservation?

-JP newspaper which published the cartoons, the cartoon team head by a Jew.

Speaking about fear, why would we? we don’t make plans against jews/zions, yes you guys keep making plans against muslims/islam by rejecting Muhammad as next prophet which was mentioned in your bible. You guys were told about the next awaiting prophet, when he came, you rejected it, Why, I don’t know, maybe it was all about racism that Muhammad(saw) was not from Children of ISrael.

As salaam aleikum!
To be honest no one will overreact. If they do it’s probably external forces like Mosad etc. working behind the scenes. Most of the peaceful protests that happened were lead by good willed scholars but a few brainwashed Muslims or Muslim-looking people (people from a certain non-muslim middle eastern country) turned it into a mad mob. I’m talking about the Danish cartoons.
As for this stunt. Who do you think coined the phrase Apple Mecca? A Muslim would never do that. If this is a Mecca project than it says that NYC is the Mecca of the Western world…hence 9/11.
If you want to know the last time this happened read the Tafseer of Surah Al-Fil. It was Allah’s house and Allah protected it. If anything this Apple Mecca is a direct attack on Allah and not Muslims. Let’s sit back and see what happens.
