I figured you would put this up. Funniest thing I have ever seen. I am laughing my ass off. The Bush regime has been trying to overthrow Chavez since 2002. He just bought $3 billion of military hardware from Russia, including upten jillion AK-47’s. He wants to fight. He is scaring the shit out of them. I guess I will have to watch the Ministry of Propaganda tonight (US Media). They are going to go completely nuts!!!

I guess this is probably totally irrelevant but I want to know what the fuss surrounding hudood ordinance is all about?
What does Islam say about this?What do the government and people say about this?

The US government speaks two ways. Directly, as in Bolton's statement and indirectly through the news media.

The news media (CNN, FOX, etc.) in the US is all owned by 5 major corporations. For example, NBC is owned by General Electric. GE is a major defense industry corporation.

The "news" is coordinated between the media outlets and the White House (principly, Karl Rove). Detractors of this process call it the MSM (main stream media), the Corporate Media or "The Ministry of Propaganda".

The purpose is to control "public opinion" to the benefit of the Neoliberal economic model. They are very effective. The typical american is pretty much clueless about the world he lives in.

For the US govt to speak is to give credence, so the Bolton statement is all the government is going to say.

The media, on the other hand, is going to have a lot to say. They are going to spin him as a clown, a buffoon, a dictator, a threat, a thug. "How dare this man come on american soil and insult our president"

The media does not show Chavez promoting the Chomsky book or the laughter and applause in the UN. The media is not going to point out that Chavez is democratically elected or that we have recently appointed a new CIA chief to head up the operations to rig the next Venezuelan elections, etc.
